ABSTRACT
This tech solution company is going to specialize in providing innovative technology solutions to
businesses of all sizes. Our products and services will include software development, cloud
computing services, security software and a mech store. Our target is going to be a small,
medium sized businesses. This includes individual services, school, health care, finance and
retail sectors.
The company will look forward to a significant growth in revenue over the next three years,
with an expected increase of up to 20% in the first year. Our long term goal will be to achieve a
market share of 15% within the second year by expanding our product line. We will also be
committed to ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer support and
training our sales team.
The company will also increase the number of employees by investing in training and
development programs. This will help us to build a skilled workforce that will be able to meet
the needs of our customers. Finally, we will aim to establish a strong brand within the next five

The owner of the proposed Business is Brian Kiarie who is currently 20 years old studying at
Jeremiah Nyagah Technical institute pursuing a diploma in Information Communication
Technology. Studied at Kerugoya Framar Junior academy and later joined Spring board High
school till senior year. The capital required to start the business is Ksh 600,000. The owner of
the business, with Ksh 200,000 of savings will look up to family who will help provide Ksh
100,000 and the rest of the money that is Ksh 300,000 will be a loan from bank. With this
money put ready, the business will be fully established and ready to go.

The business shall be located in Nairobi City. The location is suitable because it is well
populated place and surrounded by businesses and people that will be in need of my services
most and it is also the busiest city in the country with everything from schools, hospitals and
many companies. Resources needed for the business are readily available and security is good.

The business is going to be a sole proprietorship and the business owner is Brian Kiarie. The
idea of choosing this form of ownership is because the Owner of the business controls
everything alone; the face of the business.

The business will adopt a sole proprietor from of business because it is easy to start up due to
the less amount of capital needed and less legal requirements needed to keep the business

running. The owner of the business will also be responsible for all the decision making which
will be simpler since he is the main owner of the business. He will also enjoy all the profits alone
and run the business to his wish. The main target consumers of the business will be schools and
hospitals in need of services involving technology.

Our Tech solution company will offer a variety of technology based products and services.
These services will include custom software development, IT consulting and support, cloud
computing services and cyber security services. I will provide customized solutions also so as to
meet the needs of my clients and optimize their IT devices and experience and also secure their
data. The business will also provide training, installation and maintenance services to ensure
smooth operations from our clients.

The owner of the business will highlight the factors necessary for the growth of the business,
this includes customer testimonials, data from market research, case studies and knowing how
the services we provide are suited to meet the requirements to the targeted market and also

2.0 Potential Customer
Based on the location of the business, the main target customers of the business will be
institutions, this includes schools and hospitals and big businesses. An example is providing
custom software solutions to a school so as to well manage their large database; this also
applies to the hospitals. The big businesses will also need software to manage their inventory,
process transactions and analyze customer data. The business also provides cloud and cyber
services, which will be needed by all our customers so as take care of all their mass data and
ensure no data loss, which might lead to decline in their businesses.

The business will be aware of the competition. We will conduct a research to identify our
competitors’ strengths and weaknesses so as to spot opportunities. We research our
competitors’ services, pricing strategies, marketing tactics and customer base. Intelligent
techniques such as monitoring the competitions websites, social media so as to stay informed
of their new products and services and any changes in their strategy.

3.2 Staffing
The staffing of key personnel; will be a tough and yet important process for building a great
business team. The owner of the business, will be responsible for all this. The trend and flow of
business will be coordinated by the manager. The manager will arrange the staff and give out
the work that will be needed to be done, and all the employees will answer only to him, this
also includes complains, ideas and also making the final decision.
3.3 Hiring and Training
Recruitment and hiring the staff members is the duty of the business owner. So as to reach
people suitable for this jobs, the manager will use different methods such as online job
recruitment, this will be done by spreading word on social platforms like reddit and LinkedIn.
University and college partnerships will also be considered. Establishing of relationships with
educational institutions and participation in career affairs or even recruitment events to
connect with young talents and graduates. Interviews will also be done virtually and also in
person to evaluate qualifications and experiences.

To ensure legal compliances for HappiTek solutions, I will begin by registering the business and
obtaining necessary permits and licenses. Our property will also be protected through
trademarks and copyrights. The business shall also be keen on laws and other operations and
regulations that apply to us, this includes employment laws and data protection regulations.
We will also have accounts for payroll, taxes social security contributions and workers’
insurances. We will also be keen on taxes, this will include filling tax returns and remitting taxes
on time.

HappiTek solutions will require various professional services to support its operations, this
includes establishing a banking relationship for managing financial transactions such as
receiving payments and making vendor payments. Also securing a dedicated business address

4.2 Production strategy
To ensure a steady flow of products and services, the manager will make sure that employees
comply with business rules and also safety of the business process. Employing of productive
staff will also give in big on the production sector. Offering cyber services to our clients will
greatly help, especially when we include incentives like giving bonuses and discounts. Ensuring
that the work place is comfortable and clean and well quite, the developers on the team will
also be able to share ideas and come up with quality and classy software good and efficient for
our clients. We will also ensure that the source of the hardware products not to fail us and be
of good quality so as to not push away our customers and instead attract more. When good

then it is executed. With this process implemented, the business will sure grow and always
meet clients’ satisfaction.

For the business to start and continue its operations smoothly, we will need to comply with the
government regulations this includes paying our taxes and having the necessary documents
needed to run the business.

business premises is safe and does not get to be affected by any diseases or any form of
sickness. This will include observing thing like:
The right chairs to avoid workers suffering from back pains and exhaustion

Clean environment to avoid germ and bacterial diseases.
