ABOUT THE COLLEGE
St. Francis College Bengaluru is a minority Christian College, affiliated to Bengaluru City
University. It is located in the bustling neighbourhood of Koramangala, right in the centre
of Bengaluru. The ideals of moral rectitude, social responsibility, and the quest for
excellence are fostered and overseen by the Franciscan Brothers (CMSF). The college
strives for its students' holistic growth in addition to their academic achievement.
ABOUT THE MANAGEMENT
In 1901, Rev. Bro. Paulus Moritz from Germany established the Congregation of the
Franciscan Missionary Brothers (CMSF) in India. Since then the congregation has
dedicated itself to serving humanity through a multitude of educational institutions,
colleges, orphanages, and technical institutes spread across several states. Apart from
these establishments, the Franciscan congregation has its branches in the USA, Germany
and Switzerland.
ABOUT CARNIVALESQUE ‘25
Carnivalesque ‘25 is the fourth edition of the annual intercollegiate fest hosted by
St. Francis College. It is a platform for youngsters to showcase their innate talents in
academic, cultural and sports events. Carnivalesque aims to provide an opportunity for
students across the nation to exhibit their unique talents, unfold their creativity, instill
confidence, foster team spirit and hence facilitate the holistic development of the
students.
ABOUT S E R E N I S
Serenis is a celebration of resilience, showing that in the darkest times, the most
beautiful ideas and connections can flourish. This theme emphasizes that Peace is not
just the absence of conflict, but the presence of harmony, balance, and
empathy—qualities that bind us together even in times of division. It is a call to find
common ground, to listen to each other and to come together with the shared purpose
of creating a world where understanding and creativity prevail over division.
GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
Carnivalesque ‘25 - Serenis is open for both UG & PG Students (Age Limit : 25 Years - Born after 01/04/2000).
“Battle of Bands” & “Street Dance” are open events, hence no age limit.
Participants must carry their College ID Cards (Open Event participants must carry Govt. issued ID Cards).
If participants have registered for more than one event, they need to ensure the timings of their events do not clash.
There is no restriction on number of teams that can participate from a single institution for Academic & Cultural events.
Participation is limited to one team per college for sports events (team events) and no restrictions on individual sports events.
Sports participants must carry Bonafide Certificate and Govt. issued ID along with College ID cards.

No vulgarity, political or religious references are entertained. If done so, the participants will be disqualified.
The organizers reserve the Rights to Disqualify the participants or cancel the events without any justifications.
Team members in all category of events are expected to be representatives of the same institution.
GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
First-aid will be provided.
Decision of match officials and judges' will be final and binding.
No refund will be initiated once the registration is done, unless the event stands cancelled.
The following items are prohibited- Alcohol, Lighters, Cigarettes, Vapes, Hookah, E-Cigarettes, Cannabis / Marijuana,
Drugs, Flammable Objects, Pepper Spray, Perfumes, Deodorants, Contraceptives, Liquids, Helmets, Medicines,
Edibles, Cosmetics, Sharp objects or Weapons such as Pocket Knives, Razors and items closely related to the above will be
confiscated and will not be returned.
Parking is not allowed inside the campus.
Spot Registrations are not entertained. Registrations for events will be closed once it reaches the threshold Limit.
All the sports teams must participate in proper sports attire.
Sports teams should be accompanied by the Physical Education Director / College Staff / Coach / Team manager compulsorily.
