Blossoms
Oh Cherry blossoms, I can’t
get enough of you
I can stare all day with your
amazing view
Rainbows, warm sun, pink
cherry blossom
Makes my day oh so awesome.
Waiting for Better Days
Sadness lurks around the corner
Today is the day for I will feel better
Thunder’s loud torment rolls now leaving
Fear’s echoing uproar now vanishing
grief stricken heart full of cries unspoken
The once weary eye shines brightly again
Higher up in the sky soars another day
wonderful colors glow more in evrery way
Free verse
Limerick
There was a lady named Jennette
Who loves the sweet color violet
She dyed her hair
On a lazy chair
And shouted her name till sunset.
This lady once said
She will never sleep in her bed
She ran away
With a huge boquet
Wearing a garland on her head

Clerihews
Everybody loves Xander Ford
People talk about him when they’re bored
He danced like a bull
With mouth so full
Our leader named Rody is really scary
He’s sometimes funny but very witty
When he raises his fists
He becomes an antagonist
Clerihew is a short or nonsensical verse, typically in two rhyming
couplets with lines of unequal length and referring to a famous
person.
Sonnet
Dawn
By: Jennette Trinity M. Carido
dawn breaks with journey I need to begin
My weary sad soul is out for a quest
I’m weak, I’ll go, whispers the voice within.
I’m not looking back, I will give my best.
A dream pushes me, there’s
no time to waste,
Hurrying time wont wait for anyone
Tides are high , winds are strong , sail on in haste
the end of the tunnel awaits someone
Push gray clouds round the corner and walk on
The hoarse voice tells of journey that is long
My Captain, he will never abandon
I feel it rough and tough and I’ll be strong
Down the road there will be better days
There will be more of life we need to face. Beautiful SAGADA
