History: Trucut biopsy from left preauricular lesion, which has born erosion.

Gross: Specimen container is labeled with the patient's name and medical record number.
Fixative: Formalin
Number of cores: 4 cores
Core size and block key: Cores measuring 15 mm and 14 mm, submitted in block (A), 14 mm and 5 mm,
submitted in block (B). The entire specimen is submitted in two blocks (A&B).

Micro: Sections reveal a cellular lesion composed of large number of giant cells between which mononuclear cells
are dispersed.
