g) Each box weighs 12kg 145g. What will be the weight of 16 such boxes ?

5. Answer the following questions: - (4x8=32)
a) A school hall 35m long and 20m wide is surrounded by verandah of uniform width of
4m. Find the area of the verandah.
b) Find the area of the figure.
c) The length , breadth and height of a room are 5m, 3.5m, 2.5m respectively. Find the
volume of air present in it.
d) Munni gets Rs.882 per week for her pocket money. She spends equal amount daily. How
much money does she spend on Monday ?
e) The prices of five chains are Rs.750, Rs.680, Rs.793, Rs.745 and Rs.702. Find the average
price per chain.
f) In a company, 15 clerks get a salary of Rs.25,000 each and 5 officers get a salary of
Rs.60,000 each. Find the average salary of the employees of the company.
g) Following are the kinds of fruits liked by 37 students of class V. Check the data given
bellow and answer the following questions.
