whether all the items are complete according to the table shown bellow. If all items are complete,
then devices are ready for installation.

                              Chapter 2 Introduction
     Product Introduction
This dashcam is a video and audio intelligent monitoring product for vehicle. With advanced image
acquisition technology and high-definition video recording technology, it records the front vision of
the vehicle. With high-fidelity sound recording technology, it synchronizes the video and audio in
the vehicle. With high-precision positioning technology, it offers excellent vehicle positioning service.
It uses intelligent AI algorithm for driving behavior monitoring, which ensures the service quality and
protects the legitimate rights and interests of drivers and passengers. The dashcam combines rich
functions with excellent performance, stability, compactness, low power consumption and easy
installation and maintenance. The product can be widely applied to vehicles such as ride-hailing cars,
taxis, official cars and other industries cars.
This product is subject to active development, which means that some functions may differ from
what is presented in this manual. Please refer to the actual product for your reference.

Press Wi-Fi button to enable Wi-Fi AP.
When the dashcam is on, press shortly the RESET button with a solid insulator to restart the device.
Press and hold for 5 seconds to restore to the default setting.

① Power Interface: 8-pin BM male terminal connects to Power cable.

④ Power Cable: ACC connects to vehicle ACC via the power connector, VCC connects to vehicle
power positive via the power connector, GND to the ground line.
⑤ IO #2: Connects to alarm button, facilitate capture and upload alarm information to the platform
connected.
⑥ IO # 1: Same as alarm 2.
⑦ RS232 serial port: Reserved connection to periphery.

                                Chapter 3 Installation
     Install the TF Card and SIM Card
The TF card is to for the storage of recordings and snapshots. The SIM card is for connecting to 3G/4G
network. The installation method of both is the same.
The dashcam records videos in a loop. When the TF card storage is used up, then later recordings
will cover earlier recordings. Please backup the recordings after an accident or other important
events.
You need to format the TF card when using the TF card for the first time. To format the TF card, you
need to insert the TF card into the dashcam and then choose the TF card formation option on the
dashcam app. Formation with a computer will not work.
      Loose the screw and open the cover from the bump of the cover.
      Push the TF card into either the TF1 or TF2 slot until you hear a click sound.
      Put on the cover and tighten the screw on the screw hole.
The recording will start once the TF card is installed. Contact the sales for specialized app to set up
recording parameters and management.
     Install the Dashcam
The dashcam can be installed on the front car windshield as shown in the following.
      Clean the windshield and make sure that the surface is dust free.

                                      Clean the Windshield
Tear off the 3M release paper and install the dashcam; connect it to power cord and wire
the dashcam as shown bellow.
                                       Install the Dashcam
Connect the cables: ACC to the vehicle ACC, VCC to the positive of the vehicle power, GND to
the ground.

                                      Connect the Cables
Adjust the camera to the proper angle and fix the camera angle by tightening the fixing
screw. When adjusting the dashcam, make sure that the horizontal line is between the sky
and ground.

     Install the On-Board Camera
The on-board camera can be installed on the inside of the front windshield, as shown in the follows.
     Clean the windshield and make sure that the surface is dust free.
The recommended install position is inside the windshield and make sure that the camera vision
includes the whole vehicle interior.

Fix the camera: tear off the release glue on the camera and press the camera on the
installation position for 30 s.

Adjust the camera angle: after fixing the camera, rotate its lens to make sure that its view
includes all the monitor area.

Fix the camera angle: after confirming the4 camera angle, tear off the sticker of on the anti-
rotation lock and put the anti-rotation lock into the camera.

As the anti-rotation lock has to go through the cable of the camera, you should not connect the
camera to the dashcam too early.
     Connect the camera cable to the CH2 of the dashcam cable.

                     Chapter 4 Quick Configuration
     Front Page
The front page of the HAT-Dashcam app is the “Preview” interface. You can preview the image of
the dashcam and configure its setup on the startup page. You can also open the menu on left to
disconnect the connection and open the configuration center.

     Quick Configurations
You can set the plate number and color, and upload them to the platform.
     Tap the quick Config button the front page. You can also go to Config->Basic Parameters to
     fill in the plate number and color.
     On the quick Config interface, type in the plate number and choose the plate color. Tap Save
     and Next.

                                      Chapter 5 FAQ
     Dashcam Start Failure
• Check whether the power supply is consistent with the required parameters of the dashcam.
• Check that the power cord is properly connected.
• Check that the vehicle power supply is normal.
     Video Recording Failure
• Please confirm that the vehicle dashcam has inserted a TF card.
• Please confirm if the TF card is damaged, and if it is damaged, replace the TF card.
• Please try formatting the TF card.
     Position Failure
• Please check whether there is any obstruction around the vehicle, drive the vehicle to an open
road, the GNSS indicator is always on to indicate that the equipment is operating normally.
• Do not fix the dashcam on the special car film, some car film will affect the positioning signal, you
need to move the dashcam to a place without the car film covering.
     Blurry Video Image
• Please check that the lens protector has been removed.
• Whether the lens is dirty.
