Accessibility, quality, flexibility and relevance are the major strengths of KSOU where creation, management and dissemination of

Bangalore based Sharada Vikas Trust (SVT) is a renowned trust
rendering good quality educational services in India and abroad.
The trust was established in the year 2001 by a group of eminent and
service minded personalities.
Ever since, the trust is running several educational Institutions like
a Pre-University College, a Degree College affiliated to Bangalore
University and a Business School.
The trust has also been running several Skill Development
Programmes for students and other professionals across the
country through its channel partners numbering more than two
hundred spread across the country. These programmes have
been approved by the Govt. of India bodies like : MSME
(Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) and
NIESBUD (National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small
Business Development.) etc,. SVT has been rendering educational
services to the Karnataka State Open University as its significant
partner.
Sharada Vikas Trust is also the exclusive partner of Karnataka
State Women’s University.
The trust’s association extends to the Tel Aviv University of Israel
and TAFE of Queensland Australia.
The various Academic Programmes are being delivered through
Sharada Vikas Trust has more than fifteen thousand students on its existing partner network across 250 locations in India and it

The Launching of ON-LINE Programs

The open and the Distance Learning system assumes a new dimension to take the higher education to the

length and breath of the country by technology in enabled delivery system along with printed course

material the student will be provided with web -based course materials, video based lectures and mobile

based to learning the students can expect high levels of interactivity and technology based support .

The programs to be offered are the masters level in areas of physics, mathematics, Nano technology,

IT Infrastructure and Information technology and a variety of Business Administration programs at as well

as the professional qualification such as Library & Information Science.

At undergraduate level the focus will be in Management subjects such as BBA and BBM, Bachelors in

Science subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

We also intend to offer Diploma programs in Multimedia, Digital Film Making, Computer Engineering as
