Brgy. Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City

I. Situation Overview
On 27 March 2025 at around 4:15 AM, a fire incident occurred at Sitio Masuhud,
Brgy. Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City. The fire was declared out at around 5:29 AM.
Due to the incident, 12 individuals were affected, resulting in significant damage to
their house.
In response, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through
its Field Office (FO) IX, provided relief assistance to support the immediate needs of
the affected individuals.

II. Status of Affected Areas and Population
A total of three (3) families or 12 persons were affected in Brgy. Talon-Talon,
Zamboanga City (see Annex A).
III. Status of Displaced Population
Outside Evacuation Center
A total of three (3) families or 12 persons temporarily stayed with their relatives or
friends (see Annex B).
IV. Damaged Houses
One (1) house was totally damaged in Brgy. Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City (see
Annex C).
V. Cost of Humanitarian Assistance Provided
A total of ₱21,570.75 worth of assistance was provided by DSWD to the affected
families (see Annex D).
