1. INSPECTION OF ENGINE NACELLE
A. Perform the following inspection whenever the engine is removed from the
nacelle.
(1) Cowling and Access Panels
(a) Remove, clean and inspect for cracks, corrosion, dents, nicks,
scratches and deEective or missing fasteners.
(2) Structure
(a) Clean and inspect the following for cracks, corrosion, deforma-
tion, dents, nicks, scratches, defective or missing fasteners,
and security.
NOTE: Comply with all NDI inspections due.
(1) Longeron ( 6 ) Air Inlet Scoop
(2) Beams (7) Oil Cooler Inlet Scoop
( 3 ) supports (8_) Engine Mount Support
(A) Firewall Structure
( 5 ) Cone Fittings ( 9 ) Skins
(10) Drip Pans
(3) Engine Dynafocal Mounts
(a) Remove front and rear mounts, disassembly, clean, inspect and
assemble in accordance with the applicable maintenance and
overhaul manuals.
(b) Front Dynafocal Mount Cores P/N LM-200-127 installed in P/N
LM-200-SA27 mounts must be replaced at 6000 landings or seven (7)
years from date of manufacture, whichever occurs first.
(4) Oil System
(a) Clean and inspect the following for cracks, corrosion, chafing,

(1) Oil Tank (4) Support,Straps
(2) Oil Cooler ( 5 ) Oil Cooler Door and
(2) Oil Cooler Upper Seals Actuator
( 5 ) Tubing
(a) Clean and inspect for dents, cracks, corrosion, chafing,
security, obstructions and deteriorated or missing groments.
(6) Hoses
(a) Clean and inspect for damage, chafing, deterioration and proper
installation.
NOTE: Replace elastomeric (non-teflon) hoses at five (5) years
from manufacture date or if manufacture date is unknown.
(7) Electrical System
(a) Wiring
(1) Inspect foe security, pinching in clamps, chafing, and
frayed or damaged insulation.
(2) Perform continuity check.
(b) Cannon Plugs
(1) Inspect for trapped fluid, bent or broken pins, corrosion,
cracked, broken, or widened inserts.
(c) Junction Boxes
(1) Inspect for cracks, corrosion, security and deteriorated
gromments.
(2) Check terminals for cracks, corrosion, and mechanical
security of electrical connection.
(2) Check boxes for foreign objects.
(d) Conduits
(1) Inspect for chafing, dents, frayed or damaged insulation,
and corrosion at connectors.
