I am working in RFSL, Mysore since November
2011 to till date in various designation. I have
undergone 3 months basic course on forensic science
at NICFS, New Delhi and also in the same institute I
have done 1 month training on DNA profiling. During
my service I have been examined more than 10
thousand cases and deposed in court around two
thousand cases. I have completed M.Sc, PHD in Micro
Biology.
2 SC No. 147/2017 PW. 25
2. On 27-02-2017 our office has received four
sealed articles from Soladevanahalli Police station
pertaining to Crime No.15/2017 through PC
No.11824. The same was received at our office
reception counter by giving our office number as
RFSL/BS/269/2017. The four articles received in
reception counter of our office sent to biology
section. Assistant Director RFSL, Biology section
assigned to this case articles to me to analyse and
issue the report.
3. I took up this case articles on 18.03.2017, I
found that articles were duly packed and sealed and
seals were intact and tallied with the sample seal
sent by the I.O. When I opened the articles, I found
article No.1 to 3 were blood swabs, article No.4 is
blood sample. I subjected the above articles for
Chemical and Serological examination. Based on my
test results I opined that blood stains were detected
in articles No.1 to 3, these blood stains were human
'B' group blood. Blood sample in article No.4 was
disintegrated hence its origin could not be
determined. Accordingly I issue the report through
our Assistant Director to the concerned police. The
report is marked as Ex.P.101 and signature of the
witness is marked as Ex.P.101(a).
3 SC No. 147/2017 PW. 25
4. After examination all the articles are
repacked and sealed with our office seal and send
back to concerned police. The sample seal used is
enclosed with my report. Sample seal is marked as
Ex.P.101(b). Witness identified the articles item No.1
to 3 which are already marked as M.O 14 to 16 and
article No.4 which is already marked as M.O 27.

5. There is no reference in respect of the receipt
of articles from reception counter to Biology section
in my report Ex.P.101. The sample seal impression
was not mentioned in my report. It is not true to
suggest that, I have not mentioned in my report in
respect of the article No.1 to 4 were intact and duly
packed. It is true to suggest that, I have not
mentioned in my report in respect of article No.1 to 4
after examination the said articles are repacked and
sealed and sent back to the I.O.
6. It is true to suggest that, the date of
examination of article No.1 to 4 was not mentioned in
my report. The 30% of the Indian population has 'B'
group blood. I have not mentioned colour of blood in
4 SC No. 147/2017 PW. 25
article No.1 to 3 in my report because my aim is to
examine blood stains identification.
Question: In presumptive and confirmative test
positively indicates pink and purple color changes ?
Answer: It is not true. The reaction product gives
Green and Pink colour while doing presumptive and
confirmative test.
7. I am not aware that out of two thousand
cases how many cases the court accepted and how
many cases the court discarded my evidence. FSL
comes under Home Department. It is not true to
suggest that, M.O 14 to 16 I have not examined
according to the procedure . It is not true to suggest
that, I have issued false report Ex.P.101 at the
instance of police officer.
