Đặng Ngọc Bảo Thi – DTA227539

One of the books that has had a profound impact on me is Man’s Search for
Meaning by Viktor Frankl. This book is not just a memoir of life in a concentration
camp but also a deep reflection on the meaning of existence. Frankl, a psychiatrist,
endured years of suffering, witnessing the deaths of his family members and facing
the possibility of his own death every day. However, what struck me most was not
the cruelty he experienced but his ability to find hope even in the darkest
circumstances.
This book changed the way I view life and the difficulties I encounter. In the past,
when facing failure or loss, I often felt helpless. But after reading Man’s Search for
Meaning, I realized that what truly matters is not our circumstances but how we
respond to them. Frankl argues that even when everything is taken away, we still
have the freedom to choose our attitude. Since then, I have learned to be more
resilient and to find meaning even in challenges that seem hopeless.
This book is more than just a story—it is a lesson on how to approach life. It has
taught me to appreciate what I have and to turn hardships into opportunities for
growth.
