DMP3035 failure Repair Tooling

Note: Q906 is ESD/EOS sensitive component, the human body electrostatic and soldering iron
electricity leakage will damage it, so technician must wear the ESD strap and the soldering iron must
connect to ground ensure do not leakage when soldering. The best way is remove the soldering iron
power plug to use the afterheat soldering.

HTS9221/924 PSU SCH for reference.

In standby model, G pin =H


and Dpin =0V is normal.
HTS9221&9241 Q906(DMP3035) loaction

Q906 location,

Q906 PIN1, check the frist pin mark


on Q906 when soldering
Some glue under the Q906, be
carefully when remove the Q906

In standby mode check Q906 5-8


pin output voltage , 0V is normal,
Q906 OK, check other component.
If 5-8ping have voltage output is
abnormal, need replace a new one.

After solder the Q906(DMP3035), measure Q906 pin4 =H and pin5-8 output voltage is 0V
then assembly the unit.
