enacted the ‘Birth of Ganesh’ a creation by Goddess

as ‘Ganapati’ by Lord Shiva his father. The tempo
heightened with a series of songs and graceful dances
to melodious beats which delighted the students and

The Secondary Section took over with a skit which
beautifully depicted how Lord Ganesha was named
‘Ekadanta’. This was followed by a dance and song Fervent veneration expressed through
Song and Dance
over loaded with devotion, zeal and zest to express
the joy and delight in praising Lord Ganesha.

Bharat Vansh - Class V
Jubilee Hills Public School, Class V staged Bharat Vansh, a stage that gives every ‘Vansh’ a chance to
showcase their talents on 2nd September, 2023. The theme-based programme on Indian Dynasties was
taken to inculcate feelings of gratitude and respect towards the famous personalities for their integral
roles in Indian History, thus etching an insight to their unique contributions and a long-lasting legacy in
India.
The parents of Class V students were astounded with the creditable children’s
performances and expressed their gratitude to the management and teachers for this opportunity given

MOCK DRILL ON
FIRE FIGHTING
A mock drill to demonstrate fire safety awareness session was conducted in Jubilee Hills Public School,
Hyderabad on 26th September, 2023. The aim was to guide the students and teachers regarding safety
measures to be followed in times of fire outbreak emergencies.
Various fire-fighting techniques and precautions were demonstrated by Mr. Chandra Sekhar Babu, Fire
Officer and his team from the Fire Station, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The demonstration showed safety
tips for effective control over the situation to avoid panic. He also showed methods to handle different
common sources of fire outbreak, like oil, electricity and gas cylinder leakages. The functioning of the fire
extinguishers was explained with hands on experience. Lastly he emphasized on the Do’s and Don’ts for
precautions to be taken during a fire outbreak, on the spot help and rescue.The session was informative
for fire safety precautions, behavioral awareness and
life-saving skills.

Career opportunity during the field trip
O
n 20th September 2023, Grade XI and XII students of Jubilee Hills Public school visited the
Footwear Design and Development Institute of India (FDDI), Hyderabad, for their field trip.
The surprise that awaited them was an actual hands-on experience, the Institute allowed them
to create, design, stitch or paste the pieces to create a product. Our versatile students moved into action
and amazing creations rolled out, footwear, handbags and outfits.
Fashion Industry as a Career cascaded right there as a personal experience plus the opportunity to
interact with the experts in the field present for queries or information.
The students were very grateful to the Management for the extremely enriching and insightful field trip.

Jubilee Hills Public School celebrated ‘JANMASHTAMI’ on 6th
September 2023, to relive the birth and early life of Lord Krishna
and rejoice in the concept that good always triumphs over evil to
protect mankind.
The significance of the festival and motive for celebrating Lord
Krishna’s life was enunciated through a beautiful rendition of slokas,
songs and dances with fervour and enthusiasm setting the stage on
fire. The Krishna leela dance performed depicted Lord Krishna’s
love for dance and music to the accompaniment of the flute by
the students of the Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary sections
depicting the life of Lord Krishna.
