 Chapter One
PROLOGUE

My name is Aphiwe Hlongwa l am 25 years old and well life hasn't been the easiest so
far. l don't have a job ,l ran away from home one year ago and honestly l am not
ready for that conversation ....yet. you might be wondering where do l live now ? . l
live with my friend Ava who l met in high school and to be honest she is awesome,
she may be too honest for some people but you have to take her as she is .

when l left home l had no idea where l was going and to be honest l didn't care , no
place could be worse than that . Ava family were the one that took me in and l will
be forever grateful. Home was not really warm and my mum well you know what l
mean right? . at home l left my step sister Thando ,Bonga and my step dad .

My real father decided that he didn't want to be with my mum and just one day up
and left and l did cry but that was the day l learnt to be independent and not relay
on my mom to much because there are two things that ,that women loves the most
her husband and money so not all of us are lucky to get a loving mother

l was sitting in the kitchen of Ava new apartment that we just moved into and she
come holding a piece of paper

Me : and what l you holding? l said as she come to me

Her : look she said as she was giving me this paper

Me : " A person assistant is needed if you have any experience please don't miss this
opportunity to work with the NGUBANE cooperation" as l finished reading she was
busy smiling at me

Me : "Come on Ava you know this won't work l don't even have experience and where
did you get this " ?

Her : " You don't need to worry about where l got it just know l got it and there is no
harm in trying okay what if you are lucky and you get the job just try " she said

getting up and going to the sink

Her : " Than you leave at Least you would have tried you lucky " she said following
me around where l was

Me :" l don't think that a great idea at all" l said very worriedly l know she means
good but l don't want to embrass myself in front of people

Her: " can you at least try it, you don't want to spend another year , month not doing
anything come on now . Trying won't kill" sh said persuasively

Me: " Okay l will try okay because some how you have hope " l said and she started
smiling immediately

Her : " Okay we have to prepare you have only today, tomorrow you have an
interview in the NGUBANE cooperation which is very good opportunity and one of
the biggest company in our city so we have to prepare you " she said dragging me to
her bedroom

Menzi

Her : when am l going to have grand kids

Me : mum are you being serious right now ?

That is me talking to my mom let me introduce myself properly my name is Menzi

Ngubane l am 27 years old and l am a business man mostly deal with wine but l have
different business such wine exportation, products and cars . and that you heard was
my mum constantly complaining about my love life

l respect my mum very much but sometimes she over steps her boundaries over the
pretence of worrying about me and l have 2 brothers,Andile and Ryan. l also have no
clue why my mum decided to give my younger brother a English name when we all
have Zulu names

Me : did you call me to have dinner or taj about me

Her : l just want a grand kids too you know now and you are not getting any younger

Me : am l the only son you have ? why are you always nagging me about this stuff and
you know mum l don't have time for this and can we not do this now we are having
dinner right now
Her : you are not getting any younger Menzi you have to start a family soon ,get a
wife . You are the oldest you need to lead by example

Me : Andile and l are the same age we are twins remember l don't recall you talking
to him about marriage

Him: Menzi don't make this about me this is about you

Me : and Ryan?

Ryan: l'm 18 l am a child

You know brother are suppose to have your back but not this two l don't even know
what to say .Andile l don't have any thing to say about his personality because you
can never get a grasp, the only thing you have to do is not to try understand it and
Ryan,he is the most stubborn person ever well we are all stubborn in our own way so
that that....

Ryan : so Menzi are you staying over tonight?

Me : no l have a meeting in an hour with some of my investor

Her : can you at least think about what l said Menzi

Me : mum please you can clearly see that l don't have time for a relationship but still
you want me to be in a relationship, you have Andile right here l think it best you
tell him that

Him: l am not ready for anything serious with anybody , you guys know that l want
to enjoy my youth

Ryan : what youth ? you are pushing 30

Saying that Andile hit Ryan on the head

Ryan: ouch mom!

Him: have you forgotten l am your older brother ?

Her : can you two stop this l am trying to have a serious conversation and you two
have started

My mum was busy giving them a lecture and the only thing in this situation you have
to do is just keep quiet, as she was done l got up

Me : mum l have to go right now my meeting is about to begin in like an hour and
tomorrow l am holding an interview as per your idea mom of getting a personal
assistant l don't know how that going to lessen my work loay

Her : it is going to help okay just trust me

Me: anyways l'm going

All : okay bye

l have so busy this week my business has been keeping me busy so l don't understand
how someone will look at me and think oh Menzi you should be in a relationship
that crazy

Aphiwe

Today is the day l have that interview and to be honest l am scared,what if they ask
me the experience questions? l need to come up with a quick answer. l was wearing
black pants , white shirt and black heels and my hair it was already braided and now
l need to ace this interview l keep on relaying on Ava for everything, l feel like l am a
burden now to Ava

Her : come on you would be late

Me : yep l am coming

l left the house and took a taxi l didn't want to Ava to drive me there , she was going
to be late at work too

when l entered the area it hadso many security when l got near the door A old man
opened the door and l went inside to the receptionist and she directed me to the area
where the interview was held and let me tell you l was so nervous

Few hours later

When l got out of the room my phone rang and it was none other than Ava and
when l picked it up l bumped into someone spending his papers flying out of his
Hand

Me : l am so sorry sir l didn't mean it

Man : "no it okay " he said with his deep voice

Me :" let me help you with that" l said as l was picking up his stuff he just looked so
effortlessly handsome l tell you . He had a blue suite that fitted perfectly clinging
into his muscular body and his odor he smelled so good don't get me started about
his pink lips

Man :" l know l am handsome you don't need to stare that much " he said giving me
his warmest smile showing his dimples

Me:" no .....no...l ...mean ..". Damm the way he is looking at me his eyes are so intense,
he is literally starring at my soul

Man : what brings you here ?

Me : actually l just had an interview to be the new assignment

Man: to be Menzi Ngubane assistant?

Me :" yeah l guess so have you met him before." l asked curiously

Man : yeah we are actually close

Me : l heard he is a very hot headed ,rude and fires people for no reason

Man : "really " he said as he chuckled a little

Me : what ! that what l heard

Man: well l don't have anything to say about that anyways good luck

Me : "thank you l really need it " we said our goodbyes and left
 Chapter 2
Aphiwe

So l do have some exciting news l did get the job and l am so excited that l finally
have job and l actually feel like my life is going somewhere right now and Ava was so
happy for me , she was screaming ad dancing around . We actually went out to
celebrate and unfortunately Ayanda one of my friends couldn't make . and guess
what the company also gave mean apartment to live in while working for Mr
NGUBANE and to be honest with you guys l am actually very nervous l don't know
this man and how he is going to behave l just hope he is not a pain in the ass because
l really need this job to last. l hope l get to see the man because l only know him.

The office

When l entered the building everyone was looking at me and l greeted them and a
lady come to me

Lady : hi you must be the new person assistant that was hired

Me : " yes that me " l said shaking her hand and she introduced herself as Nothile she
showed me everything l needed to know

Her : you can go to Mr NGUBANE office already he would be waiting for you

Me : he is already here am l late ?

Her :" no " she chuckled a little " he likes coming an hour early to work that all "

l left to go to Mr NGUBANE and my heart was beating fast , Aphiwe first

impression last l need to make a good impression before he fires me l had to go to the
cafeteria to make him his first coffee . l knocked on the door and when l saw my new
boss my jaw Dropped this is the same guy l was talking too than l remembered what l
said about him

Him: ( working on his laptop) so are you going to stand there or are you going to
come in?
l got inside and than he looked up at me without being shocked and he just stared at
me for a while and l broke the silence

Me : sir here is your coffee ?

l went close to him to give him his coffee and our hands touched , and he took the
coffee from me

Him: what do you have for me today?

Me : you have a meeting with the investor at 11:00pm and the team of engineers want
to have a meeting with you at 13:00 and sir ?

Him : yes

Me : l am sorry what l said l didn't mean it

Him:" what the part where you said l am rude , ignorant and take no for an answe"
he said looking at me and you could tell he was serious

Me : sir l didn't say you were ignorant

Him : so you agree of the things being said about me

Me : well.....l ...l....l don't know sir that we'll to agree or disagree with that take

Him: well than it good l hired you so you can tell people that l am not what it seems

Saying that he got up from his chair and left and l followed him

Menzi

You know l don't know where people get this impression of me being rude , l just
don't know l haven't done anything to give those such impression anywhere the way
she was so shocked when she saw me .she knew she fucked up but it not really
something serious to fire someone over so let see how she does and if she can handle
the pace l work at

knew where this was going and you know sometimes l need to remind myself that
this is my mother and l have to respect her but sometimes she makes it a little to
hard for me because she keeps overstepping her boundaries. l just looked at Aphiwe
and she nodded and left

Her : and who was that young lady l haven't seen her here before

Me : mum what do want now ?

Her : do now l can't visit my son to work ? is that what you are saying Menzi

Me : " we both know this is not an ordinary visit " l said looking directly at this
woman my mom come with

Her: ( smiling) son this is Nyata she is a very good girl ,she is also highly educated she
has even been overseas

Me : and why are you telling me

Her: come on son , you know now

Me : ( looking at her) Nyata or whatever your name is please spare yourself the
embrassement and leave right now

Nyata: what ?

Me : l said leave

Her : why would you say that to my guest have you no respect for your mother Menzi

Me : well your guest is in my building which happens to be my office so leave

Her : (looking at Nyata) don't mind him okay

Nyata: l thought you are matching us so why is he disrespecting me this way

Me: "match " with who ? are you talking about me ? Now leave

Her: Menzi!!

on you ?
Saying that Nyata took her staff and left good riddance and l don't have time for this
nonsense l am a very busy man l don't want this unnecessary drama . She left leaving
my mom and l

Her: Menzi l am trying to help you to settle down l don't know why you are being
stubborn

Me: mum could you not do this right now , this is not the time or place

Her: l am helping you Menzi

Me: mum l Don't need your help okay what l need you to stop interfering with my
personal life

Her: l am your mum Menzi you don't have a personal life

Me: mum l am fine l don't want to get in a relationship with anybody right now if it
happens it will.can you stop trying to force these people on me ?and the worst part is
that you are bringing these girls into my work place how will the workers view their
boss? A womanizer? someone who is not capable of getting a girlfriend on his own
that his mum has to do it for him

Her: ( in a calmer voice) l am just trying to help

Me : "you are not helping you are just making things worse" l said sitting down on the
chair ." and if you are done can you please leave , l have a lot of work.

My mum just left without saying a word and l know l might have been too hush on
my mom but l just can't help it , she constantly needs to meddle in my business all
the time like she forgets that she also has another son that she can't be bothering me
alone

Mrs NGUBANE

feel like l am doing something wrong. l was sitting in my room when Andile come to
my room

Him :" mum l come to check on you " he said l already know that Menzi has already
told him, they never keep a secret from each other those two

Me : did he already tell you how he completely humiliated me infront of my guest?

Him : why did you do that mum?

Me : me ? Why are you questioning me ?you should talk some sense in your brother.
He won't listen to me at all

Him: mum you know you can't force him to be in a relationship with someone, it will
happen on its own

Me: there is no time Andile you know that he is getting older he needs to settle
down. you both need to settle down

Him: mum we are talking about Menzi here

Me: Menzi l don't know why l don't tell you the Same thing you guys are the same age
, Andile you guys are not getting any younger and l want grandkids

Him: ( rubbing his head) l don't want kids

Me : ( looking at him in suprise ) what did you just say?

Him: mum can please focus here ? we are talking about Menzi here you know very
much that Menzi is still not ready to date anyone

Me : ( confused) " but why ? " l said and Andile gave be a surprise glare and l was so
confused even more

Him: mum you know what happened on his late relationship and you meddling in
his life right after is making things even worse

Me: Andile that was a long time ago

Him: that doesn't mean he has fully healed from that situation okay

Me : ( tearing up) l have already apologize

Him: "l know Mum, but you got to give him time okay , you know how he is still
having second thoughts on this relationship thing because you are pressuring him
and the more you pressure him about relationship the more he wouldn't want to be
in a relationship. So please can you please just give a guy a break " he said and l
chuckled a little

Me : can we talk about the fact that you said you don't want kids

Him: you know l remembered something l have to do right now tell Ryan l will see
him tomorrow

Saying that Andile ran away, you know Andile has never been in a serious
relationship with anybody for him it just enjoying whatever he says but maybe he is
right l should stop pressuring Menzi about this before it's explodes on my face
AGAIN
 Chapter 3
Aphiwe

Everything has been awesome and l have a work friend in Nothile and l still can't
believe that's said my boss was attractive,l mean he is, not going to deny that and he
knows he is attractive and when l saw that he was the same guy l was busy talking
shit with about Menzi l had to immediately apologize to him before l lose the job l
Just got . luckily he is not that ..cruel yet .

Ava , Ayanda and l were having dinner in my new apartment that l got and this was
the kind of a celebration

Ava : l am so proud of you Aphiwe, now you have a good job and an apartment to
top it off

Ayanda: l can't believe you actually got this job ,that is an actually intellectual
company. how did you pull it off ?

Ava : what do mean by that Ayanda?

Ayanda : no l'm just asking that all

Ava : she did it like everyone else, she went to the interview and got the job what
your problem Ayanda? Are you jealous? Please don't ruin the mood for everyone
because of your negatively

Me :" come on guys let not argue this is suppose to be a celebration " l said trying to
kill down the tension l know that Ava mean well by and Ayanda she has always been
like this and l am use to it by now

Me : so in celebration does anyone want to mention anything we can add to our

celebration

Ayanda: well ( she showed us her ring)

When Ava and I saw the ring we started screaming and Ayanda was sit down
laughing at us , she was so happy
Me:" ( covering my mouth) oh my god l can't believe you are engaged bestie l am so
happy for you " l said hugging her

Ava :" and why didn't you say anything sooner girl you are in engaged "hugging her
too

Ayanda: it is not really an engagement

Ava and l looked at her confused l mean what does this girl mean she has a ring on
her finger and she said she is not engaged.

Me : what do you mean?

Ayanda: it's actually a promise ring

Ava and l just looked each other even more confused than the first time

Ava : Ayanda and why did Lebo give you a promise ring ?

Ayanda : this is actually a promise that he will marry you

Me: and why didn't he just give you a engagement ring?

Ayanda: you know Lebo he doesn't want to rush things

Ava : what does he mean he doesn't want to rush things ? . You guys have been dating
for 5 years now so you are telling me that he isn't ready

Ayanda: yes and what the problem with that ?

Ava : Ayanda this is going to be the 6th year

Ayanda: we are still getting to know each other we don't want to rush things

Ava: you guys almost had a child together l don't think this about rushing him or
anything

Ayanda: l still don't follow

Me : l think what she's trying to say is are you sure that Lebo wants to get married ?
Ayanda: ofcourse he wants to he just has money problem's

Ava: he into real estate l don't understand what you mean , he is always bragging
about having money and business so l don't think Money is the problem

Ayanda : guys can you just be happy for me this once okay l got a promise ring and
after that an engagement ring than marriage so please no

l signalled Ava not to push any further regarding this situation l just don't want to
burst her bubble that should be busted. you know Ava did call this one out ,she has
had a feeling that Lebo was just leading Ayanda on l finally agreed with her when
Lebo was caught cheating multiple occasions and when Ayanda was pregnant he said
he wasn't sure if it was his and he was not ready to be a father. l don't know how she
took him back after that because l wouldn't but this is her life some lessons you have
to learn on your own

Menzi

l was in my office when Aphiwe came in and it has been a few weeks since she has
been working here and l honesty can't complain

Her; l came to give you , your coffee sir

Me : you can leave it on the table can you please give me the blue file that has Mr
Smith information

Her : yes sir

Than she proceeded to go to my cupboard and opened to take the file...but before she
took the file she looked around the room and l just pretend to be working than l saw
her taking my other chair and she stepped on it and she tried to take the file on the
top shelf than l notice the chair shaking

Her: sir is there any other file that you need here ?

Me : no

screamed thinking she fell......she raised up her head and she looked at me .....we
actually looked at each other when the door swinged open and my brother was
looking at us in that position

Him : ( smirking at me) oh l'm sorry l didn't know you had a guest

Me : ( with a straight face) "you can come in Andile" l said as l put Aphiwe down
gently and She excused herself

Andile : wow l didn't mean to disturb you

Me :( sitting down) l was not

Andile: l mean l am your brother you can tell me?

Me : you know you are starting to sound like mum with this relationship thing

Andile: no l'm not plus you can't blame me l walked in on you with your assistance in
a very intimate situation anyone who would have seen this would have thought about
it too

Me:l am not going to win am l?

Andile: no

Me : what brings you here ? you hardly come to the office

Andile : well l just want to let you know that l got that tender l have been telling you
about and work begins Tuesday

Me: congratulations brother now you can focus on something serious and not fool
around with girls

Andile: l would refer to it as enjoying myself okay

Me: how is your other business going?

Andile: well l got new supplier this weekend and the package will be delivered to
them in a few weeks everything is fine , money is coming from different directions

Me : that good l was actually wanting to talk to you about something?

Andile: what?

Me : l am not going to try to persuade you into giving up whatever you are doing, but
l want Ryan to be able to protect himself at any given situation

Andile: l get what you mean but Ryan already knows how to fight are you talking
about weapons ? Do you think mom will agree?

Me: trust me Andile Ryan would do anything just to hold a gun ,you know how your
younger brother is and regarding mom don't worry about mom?

Andile: what if she finds out ?what are we going to do ?grandpa doesn't get here in
another two weeks

Me:" oh wow you are worried about mom, did you take mom permission when you
,dad and grandpa kidnap me when l was 23? You didn't think of taking her
permission " saying that Andile started laughing

Andile;( laughing) come on man ,we did it for you and look how you turned out

Me: you know you could have warned the guy

Andile : that the whole point was to be ready at all times , so shall we follow the same
routine

Me : ofcourse why not ? l bet that psychopath of a brother that likes fighting will love
it

Andile: anyways l have to bounce, enjoy yourself

Me : fuck you

will still protect my brother no matter what so Ryan has to learn to protect himself
just incase they try to use him to get to us AGAIN

Aphiwe

the way my heart skipped a beat when Mr NGUBANE was holding me and the
embrassement l felt when his brother who by the way looks like a replica of him
sawus the only difference is that he doesn't have dimples .when l was going out l saw
BONGa my step brother coming in the building and l ran l bumped into Nothile

Her: are you okay ?

Me: ( sweating) what.....l...am...okay

Her : Aphiwe are you okay ? You are sweating are you sure you are okay?

Me : "yeah ...( looking around) l am okay ...l.....l. ..am just tired " saying that Nothile
looked at the direction l was looking at

Her : what are you looking at ? There is no one there?

Me :" l am okay " saying that l rusheed to the bathroom room and sat there

Me: ( holding her ears and crying) ittt......it not real l am just imagining things ,he is
not here ....no he is not here l am dreaming..he is not here to hurt me

l sat in the bathroom for and hour until Nothile come to me

Her : Aphiwe are you okay?

Me : yes l am fine nothing is wrong

Her : you look like you have been crying

Me :( faking a smile) l am fine just home sick l guess, what are you doing here ?

Her : Sir has been waiting for you in his office

place was messy and the files where everywhere

Me :" is there anything l can help sir" l said and he was still looking for something
and not paying attention to me

Him: can you please go get Aphiwe for me

Me: " it is Aphiwe that is speaking sir" saying he turned around and looked at me

Him: ( angry) and where the hell have you been ?

Me: l....was..

Him: ( angry) l have been asking of you for an hour now and you where no where to
be found. is this how you do your job?

Me : l am sorry sir

Him : l am looking for my red file for an hour now and l still can't find it

l went to his cupboard and in the first drawer l took out the red file and gave it to
him

Me : "the files that you mosty use often are always in this drawer sir " and l started
cleaning the place and he left the office , what was happening to me whatever l saw
was not real l was just imagining things.that was not BONGa how could that be him ,
could he have found me ? . No Aphiwe you have to stop this or else it will cost me my
job and l cant

Ryan

l was heading home from the nearby shop when l felt like someone was following me
but when l turned around none was there and when l turned infont of me there were
4 men and they blindfolded me and it went dark........few hours later this 4 men put
me in warehouse of some kind and tied me to a chair and looked at me

Me: " what the hell is this nonsense , who asked you to do this? " They didn't respond
to me and l was busy talking to them while trying to untie myself

Me :" come on guys we can talk about this there's no need for your'l to be tying me to
a chair " that when one of them can to me while l was untying myself and he saw and
l kicked him on the chest and the others came to me and l threw a brick at one off
them , and the one with the white vest came to me and threw a punch at me and l
dodged it but the other punch l didn't dodge it. and they started beating me up

Me : ouch!!! Fuck!!

That when l saw a knife and and l quickly grabbed if and grabbed the one guy and l
pointed if it in his throat

Me: ( laughing) l would love to stay a little longer but l have places to be so, if you
move and Ince closer l will have no choice but to kill him and you don't want me to
kill him so open the door

When they opened the door l was happy l escaped but that when someone kicked me
in my stomach sending me to the floor

Me: ouch!!

The masked person and l started fighting and we were fighting and we were beating
each other but that when l grabbed his gun and pointed at him and started shooting
but what come out was paint....l am really fucked that when l everyone was clapping
for me and the masked person took of his and it was none other
than.........................ANDILE

Him: congratulations you passed the test

Me : what the fuck Andile! what is going on ?

Him: you passed the test

Me:(angry) l passed the test,are you freaking kidding me right now Andile? So this is
just a stupid test

Him: you passed

Me : and l could have freakin killed someone with that knife because of your stupid
test

Him: you passed which means you can protect yourself

Me: l don't know appreciate you testing to see if l can protect myself , l can protect
myself and doesn't need to be tested

Him: l just want to make sure

Me: if you really want to make sure give me a real gun and l show you what l can do

Him : this was to see if you could protect yourself and not to be used at any cost
unless you really need to . Next week l will teach you how to use a gun but that
doesn't mean you will have your own

Me: than why would you teach me how to use a gun if l don't get to own one

Him: you are still a child

Me : and why are you guys so kin on me protecting myself? what am protecting
myself from ?

Him: you ask to many questions

Me: l would be stupid not too

Him: we may not be always there to protect you Ryan that why we want you to learn
to protect yourself

Me: this is a very convincing reason but l still don't believe it

Him: you don't have to believe it you have to know it to protect yourself from danger

Me : what danger?

Him :let go home

Me: are you guys dealing with some illegal shit because l am in

Him: no you're not

Me : so you are dealing with some illegal shit

Him : can you stop talking and let go home

Me: "yeah let's go home l want to see how you will explain to mom how l got hurt
because l wasn't fighting and l know you didn't tell her before doing this " l said and l
smirking at him

Him: are you blackmailing me?

Me:no l'm ...just asking for the truth

Him: l will tell you later

Me: okay fine you tell me later than we will go home and mum will see me bruised
and my nose bleeding and l will tell her that you did this thing me

Him: now you are really blackmailing me

Me: yes l am , so spill it

Him: so l work with drugs and l supply to the small buyers

Me :( smiling) so you are like the big fish ?

Him :( confused) yeah whatever that means can we go now

Me : yeah sure

Yeah l am so happy now l know the truth like l was getting a little suspicious about
this training and test it was really getting on my nerves l knew something was up
with my brother's and double G (grandpa) when they started going to the study
room at home to talk "business".by the way there are hidding these tests from mum l
know she doesn't approve at all
 Chapter 4
Aphiwe

Eversince l saw BONGa outside the buyl have been terrified and l have been having
nightmares and l told Ava about and she agreed to stay with me for a while and
having her around has been great......l was sitting on my bed when she came to me
with a plate of fruits in her hands

Ava: ( worried) are you okay?

Me : no l'm not l know you think l am dreaming but l saw him Ava and he was
smiling that evil smile that says "l have finally found you"

Ava: Aphiwe what if you were mistaken? are you sure you saw him

Me:" ( tearing up) yes l saw him Ava , he has finally found me Ava he is coming to get
me Ava" saying that Ava put me in a tight hug

Ava: don't worry everything is going to be fine okay , we will make a plan

Me: ( crying) he is here Ava , he will come and take me back home and he.....he....and
mom......will....

Ava : ( wiping her tears ) everything is going to be alright l promise you

Me: how....how did he find me? Ava do you know the other day when l went to the
super market. l saw him

Ava: please stop crying okay you will be fine

Me: ( crying) " he is coming Ava , his coming to get me Ava " l couldn't help but burst
into tears after so many years these people still have such an affect on me and l hated
it.the trauma that l still have on what happened years ago does not go away no
matter what

Ava: you know what l have an idea we will go to work together and we will book an
Uber and l will drop you first and pick you first . so what did you think?

Me: l think that a good idea

Ava: you are going to be okay Aphiwe, they won't hurt you now okay

Saying that Ava hugged me . l knew l could relay on Ava but l still feel like Bonga

l don't know what wrong with Aphiwe these days , she has been acting strange and
she looks like she is going to faint and to be honest l am quite worried about her.
The other she came running in my office saying that " someone is coming after her "
sometimes l catch her starring at the door like she is waiting for someone to get in. it
was late at night and l just finished going through one of my business and Aphiwe
was with me

Me: Aphiwe come let's go home now it late l don't want to keep you past your
working

We started packing getting ready to go home

Me : l can give you a ride home

Her : it's okay sir my friend is already on her way here

Me : l mean it's quite late right now and leaving you here doesn't feel right

l woke up in this fully furnished room which was huge and painted black there was a
tray food near me and that when l realised that l was wearing someone hoodie and
short......Mr NGUBANE came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his
waist and a towel that he used to dry his hair..oh my god his is sooo fit ,this was the
first time l saw his chest tattoos..l have to stop drooling right now . l looked at the
clothes and him and l think he immediately knew what l was thinking

Him:" l didn't change you , don't worry my maid did " he said and he came to sit next
to me in bed and he brushed my hair gently with his hand.

Him: how are you feeling?

Me: " l am better " Damm the way he was looking at me with does eyes , they was so

l got up and headed to the bathroom with the towel he gave me and the shower l had
was amazing l felt the water running through my shoulders and it did make me fell
better and when l came out he was not there but there were trousers and a vest
waiting for me so l wore it, seconds later he came back not dressed at all still in his
towel l mean l get it l was in his room so he didn't get the chance to get dressed.......he
punched me to bed and he gave me food to eat while he was busy looking at me

l think going to therapy is really helpful because now l can finally move on and focus

l got home and took my luggage and went to school with lwandle and the teachers we
already preparing us to leave

l can't believe that Ryan want to came out to his mum , l really didn't want to
pressure him in doing anything because this is very new to him so l had to give
sometime. l rushed at home and l made sure everything to the tea for his welcome my

Honestly when l got a call from lwandle asking me if l know of Ryan's where abouts l
was scared but we found him and l was happy but l can't get over the fact that he was
being werid about everything like why was he acting like that?, and the fact that he
pretended like nothing happened still surprises me . everyone in school was talking
about it but we did tell everyone he is alright but ..... something is wrong.tbat when
lwandle came to me

Lwandle: Thubelihle have you talked to Ryan ever since yesterday?

Me: l'm tried calling him but then l found out that l am blocked
