Warm up (5 min)
Greet the class. Take the absences. Ask pupils How are you? … Check the home-works, the workbook.
Brainstorming (10 min)
Put up the My seasons poster on the board. Point to a season and name it incorrectly by purpose. Ask the class for verification.
Invite pupils to do the same writing them incorrectly and a pupil will give the right answer.
Listen and draw lines. Talk with your friend. Colour. Then circle. Look and write. (20 min)
Explain the activities. Tell the pupils that they are going to use the vocabulary learnt in the exercises. Explain them one by
one.
Listen and draw lines.
Play the CD, twice if necessary. Pupils listen and complete the activity. Check their answers.
Write on the board: What`s your favourite season? Elicit the question and wait for pupils` answers.
Colour. Then circle.
Refer the pupils to the pictures and explain the task. Pupils will colour the dotted sections of the pictures the colour they wish
and then circle the name of the clothing items pictured. 1. T-shirt. 2. Jeans. 3. Skirt. 4. Hat.
Look and write.
Elicit the seasons and the weather conditions. Allow the pupils some time to complete the activity. Check their answers.
1.It`s snowing. It`s winter. 2.It`s spring. It`s sunny. 3.It`s summer. It`s hot. 4.It`s autumn. It`s raining.
Let`s sing (5 min)
Draw a simple sketch of a sun and an island on the board. Point to and say: summer holiday! Pupils repeat after me. Then say
summer fun! Pupils repeat after me. Play the Cd, pupils listen and sing along.
Now I can (5 min): Students list what they can do after the 45 min class.
 Listen and draw lines.
 Sing along a song.
 Talk about weather, season and clothes.
Evaluation:
