18 January, 2025

Dear Parent,

The Year 13 Mock examinations will begin on Monday 24th February, 2025 and run until Friday 28th
February, 2025 inclusive.

For most of the Mock Exam period we will be operating Study Leave and students will not attend lessons
from Monday 24th February to Friday, 28th February inclusive. They will only come to school for their
exams. When students finish an exam on any given day, they will be allowed to leave school to study
at home for the next exam, provided we have received the consent form below. Please email a soft
copy to your child’s Learning Manager and students should carry a hard copy to be presented daily to
the security.

Students using their own transport may leave after they finish their exams. School transport is available
for the Early Years students on only selected routes at 12:20 pm. Students using school transport may use
this facility but need to bear in mind that the route and drop-off point may not be the same as the
afternoon trip. Please check with STS and the bus driver before you make this arrangement.

For students that are unable to get home and need to wait for the bus or to be collected at 3:00 pm, a
study room will be provided for revision purposes, and this must be intimated prior to us. Once students
leave the building, they will not be allowed back onto school premises so must plan accordingly.
Students must arrange to carry sufficient food/ snacks as they will not be allowed to go out to eat and
return to take the bus.

Students who have opted for BTEC subjects have to coordinate with their teachers as they may continue
normal class during the mock period.

The normal school timetable will resume Monday , 3rd March 2024.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact your son/daughter’s Learning
Manager or myself, Ms. Rini.

Yours sincerely,

Ms. Rini Praseeth

Head of Year 13
