Applicability- Applicable for all RDMs with vintage of 0-6 months.


 Performance on Lifeline I scheme will be considered from Adjusted Date of Joining of the RDM:
 If the Date of joining (DOJ) of the RDM is on or before 15th, his adjusted DOJ will be 1st of the same month whereas if the
DOJ is after 15th of the month, the adjusted DOJ will be 1st of the next month.
 The month of his adjusted DOJ would be considered as M0.
 License of PAA & AA & Above & AP will not be considered.
 Pay-out will happen only in the month in which it is due even if the future month’s criteria are achieved (Except for achieving M6
target.)
 The calculation will be monthly. i.e. NAT /PHF / Licence achievements will be considered on monthly basis
 PHF whose URN is generated will be considered.

Conditions: -
Applicability- Applicable for all RDMs whose Vintage is <12 Months
 All licenses which complete the launch pad criteria from 1st to the last day of a given month will be considered for
monthly calculation.
 LP Sourced through License will be considered. LP from AA/PAA/SAA/CAA will not be considered.
 If RDM does 1 BO every month, the Payout rate increases by 1000/BO for the next month till 3,000/BO, where it caps.
The month when the BO is zero, the RDM starts getting paid out on the base rate which is 1,000/BO and the cycle
continues
 An Agent can achieve Booster maximum 4 times which is from M3 to M6
 Maximum earning in booster will be capped at Rs 30,000 in a month.
 Booster sourced through AA/AP will not be considered for booster count

Definitions I:
 The definition of LP, TB, Power Club – (Blue, Silver, Gold & Platinum) will be considered as per R&R
definition.
 LP, CPI, CLA etc. will be considered on conversion basis and not login basis
 CLA: Any Life Advisor who has sourced at least one BDA policy (on conversion basis) during the month is
considered as ‘Contributing Life Advisor’ for that month (Split policies will be excluded for the same).
 CPI means VAP, unless mentioned otherwise.
 Split policies are defined as policies which are converted within 90 days from last policy conversion and have
same Life Assured and same Product irrespective of whether policy belonging to earlier proposer/customer
was given CLA/NOP benefit or not. In case of Head start, Child Edu. & Child Future Plan policies if
beneficiaries are different then it will not be considered as Split Policy case.

Definitions II:
 13 months persistency: 13 month lapse refers to a situation where second year premium is due, but is not
received or will not be received. The 13 Month lapse criterion is applicable to all modes viz. annual/half
yearly/quarterly/monthly.
 Settled Policies: If the policy of a customer got converted on 1st Nov 2016 (New business) and the
second year premium is paid before 1st Dec 2017 (assuming grace period of 30 days and annual
mode) then the policy will be considered as settled and 20% of the premium for this policy will be
added to the CPI achievement of Nov 2017
“20% credit will be given on all policies which are settled in the respective month.”
 Lapsed Policies: If the policy of a customer got converted on1st Nov 2016 (New business) and the
second year premium does not reach us by 1st Dec 2017 (assuming grace period of 30 days and
annual mode) then the policy will be considered as lapsed and the premium for this policy will be
deducted from the CPI achievement of Nov 2017.
“100% of premium will be deducted for all policies which are lapsed in the respective month”

 Revived Policies (Applicable to only policies which were given lapsation effect earlier): If a 13 month
Lapsed Policy which gets revived post completion of 30 days grace period is considered as 13 month
Revived Policy. If a lapsed policy which was due in Nov 2017 gets revived in Mar 2018, benefit will
be given in Mar 2018 calculations, provided the policy was considered as lapsed in Nov 2017 and
100% was deducted.
“120% credit of premium will be given for all policies which are lapsed in the respective month”
 VAP: The total VAP will be calculated as per weightages mentioned in Table In addition, PAA & AA’s team
business will be given 50% weightage respectively for VAP computation.

VAP = (New Business + First Year Renewals + Lump sum) + (20% Premium of 13 th Month Settled Policies) – (100%
Premium of 13th Month Lapsed Policies) + (120% Premium of 13th Month Revived Policies)

Terms & conditions:


 This Scheme is applicable for all RDMs/ Management Trainees in grades L1 to L5
 Only Converted Policies will be considered for VAP, CLA, Launch Pad, Blast Off, Trail Blaze & Power Club
calculations.
 The 13 month persistency criterion is applicable to all modes viz. annual/half yearly/quarterly/monthly ULIP
& Traditional policies for Monthly Incentive & BDA. If a lapsed/surrendered/cancelled policy is revived later,
it shall NOT be considered again for NOP credit.
 Cancelled policies of the current month will be excluded, while previous months/years policies getting
cancelled in the current month will be deducted from the current month’s VAP. (Current hierarchy will be
considered)
 All incentives will be computed (Monthly/Quarterly/Half-yearly) post the free-look period has been
completed (i.e. one month from the date of conversion). E.g.: Oct business pay-out shall happen in Dec, and
so on.
 The employee needs to be on the rolls of the company on a non-resignation status on the date of incentive
payment
 Recovery of incentives (for any reason) shall happen either from incentive/salary – First from incentive, and
if necessary from Salary.
 No Surrender/Re-login policies would be considered for incentive calculations even if there are approvals to
login
 KLI reserves the right to modify/withdraw the scheme or withhold payments without giving prior Notice.
 Split policies are not eligible for LP.
 LP, TB mapped to License downloaded by RDM only.
 From April 16 Onwards, Service tax will not be considered for incentive calculation.
 The management reserves the right to deduct amount from total incentive pay-out, if the employee receives
any Warning letters from KLI HR Compliance in the course of the quarter.
 Category “A” & “B” branches are basis the R&R definition.
