Dear Sir,

I am writing to apologize for my absence on March 01, 2025 and missing the quiz that was scheduled on
that day. Unfortunately, I was observing the Ramadan moon sighting with my family and community,
and it was a significant religious obligation for me.

As you may know, the start of Ramadan is determined by the sighting of the crescent moon, and it is a
time of great spiritual significance for Muslims. I had to be present with my family and community to
participate in this important event.

I understand the importance of attending classes and participating in quizzes, and I apologize for any
inconvenience my absence may have caused. I will make sure to catch up on any missed material and
complete the quiz as soon as possible.
