• The particular characteristic of offshore structures is that,
unlike onshore or near-shore structures, they cannot be
constructed in their final location
• An offshore structure must be built in a yard, loaded out,
transported to their actual site, launched or lifted off, and
finally installed
• These requirements have major influences on the design,
which requires close integration with the methods of
construction, both onshore and offshore, and their particular
environmental and geographical conditions
• PROVIDE LABORS, SUPERVISION, EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, AND
CONSUMABLES FOR THE FABRICATION OF PLATFORM’S

2. Preparation for track Multi Wheel or Skid Way:

a. Set the barge in pitching position, Pump test to have actual suction and discharge of each pump
b. Install mooring lines and ballast the barge so that the grillage on barge is about level to jetty face on
yard.
c. Install linking bridge and fasten mooring lines.

3. WHP Topside Deck load-out will be carried out as follows:

a. Operate all ballast pumps (circulation only)
b. Jack up module into required height to clear off the support, Start maneuvering toward the jetty and
Control levelness of the module from left and right side by using theodolites
d. Stop prior to crossing the gap between the jetty and barge, at the jetty’s tip and Recheck ballasting and
obtain certificate from MWS to begin crossing
g. Continue move the module to cross over onto the barge and Verify the ballasting operation accordingly.
h. Monitor the barge level, periods, tides, etc., during the load out operation
k. Install sea-fastening as soon as possible while the module is jack down on final position
l. Dismantle load-out equipment except ballasting pumps for setting draft for transportation to site.
m. Set draft of barge to even keel position ready for transportation to site.
