up first or start melting? (Melting point of the Metal = 1100K).

from 298 K to 298.45 K due to the combustion process. Given that the calorimeter
constant is 2.5 Kj K-1. Calculate the enthalpy of combustion of gas in Kj moI -1.

evolved in Kj, during this combustion. (HC(CH4)= - 890 KJ moI-1 and (HC(C2H4)= -1423 Kj
moI-1.
36. The partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the reaction:CaCO 3 (s) CaO (s) + CO2(g) is
1.017 x 10-3 atm at 5000C. Calculate Kp at 6000C for the reaction. H for the reaction is
181 Kj moI-1 and does not change in the given range of temperature.
