How

Christian
Is
Christmas?

WARNING! This booklet will turn Christmas upside down.

It might hurt your feelings, but it just might save your soul.
As a child did your parents teach you a little white lie? Were you
programmed that someone in the night was going to come to your house
and leave you presents? Did you trust what your parents told you? Then
you had no reason to doubt them. You were probably taught not to
question Christmas or what God even says about it. Most never reflect on
why they believe or to do what they do. We live in a world with customs
where no one seems to question them or where they came from.

Lets follow the roots of Christmas and see why people follow along in what
seems to be innocent. Why is it kept on December 25 ? The early New
th

Testament church never kept it. The Apostles never kept it. Jesus didn’t
remind us to remember it.

Why do people observe Christmas you might ask? It’s Easy to follow along
without even thinking. It’s Fashionable. Its what everyone else does. It’s
Tradition. It’s Fun. Everywhere we turn, work, TV, Radio, Church, there’s
Christmas being thrown at you.

Most follow along as they have been taught, believing it is what is right and
haven’t even given it a thought otherwise.

They take their beliefs for granted and never take time to question or prove
them. This is true when we consider Easter, Christmas, New Year’s,
Valentine’s Day, and Halloween.

Millions keep these without even knowing why or where they originated
from. When it comes to Christmas, many think it is in the Bible, or that God
backs them. But in order to get a new belief system, you need to develop
something that impersonates God and challenges your belief system. And
Christmas does that. Because for too long now, you will hear in church that
Christmas is the time where we celebrate the birth of Christ.

Surely millions cannot be wrong when you’re in the majority. Author Mark
Twain (1835-1910) said, “Whenever you find that you are on the side of the
majority, it is time to reform.”

What does the Bible and history really teach? To find the truth of a biblical
matter, you must be willing to open your Bible and honestly accept what it
says. The majority of people stoutly defend what they have merely
assumed is right or biblical. They read with prejudice anything that
contradicts cherished beliefs. I am asking that you read thru this booklet
without any bias.

The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:16, “All scripture is given by inspiration of

God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction
in righteousness:” The Bible is our reference and our measuring tool.

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 – “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
Abstain from all appearance of evil.”

Ask God to guide you, to help you prove what He says in His Word. No
matter how comfortable a lifelong practice may be, should you not base it
on proof? Hard evidence on what God says, instead of assumptions?

Christmas is a worldwide tradition, thought to be a wonderful time focusing

on family, giving, beautiful music and decorations. For some, special foods
are to be made, singing traditional carols know as Christmas carols. And
from the child side of things, it’s all about Santa, Reindeer and presents. For
merchants it’s all about making money and turning losses into gains for the
year.

All of this is supposedly centered on the worship of Jesus Christ, and His
birth on December 25th. But where did Christmas come from? What is the
origin of Santa Claus? The Mistletoe? Christmas trees? Holly wreaths? Yule
logs? Exchanging gifts?

Did you realize that in the United States, it was illegal to practice or observe
Christmas?

Shocking as it sounds, followers of Jesus Christ in both America and

England helped pass laws making it illegal to observe Christmas, believing it
was an insult to God to honor a day associated with ancient paganism,"
according to "Shocked by the Bible" (Thomas Nelson Inc., 2008). "Most
Americans today are unaware that Christmas was banned in Boston from
1659 to 1681."

The Puritan-dominated Parliament of England banned all Christmas

activities, including dancing, seasonal plays, and games, singing carols,
cheerful celebration and especially drinking in 1644, with the Puritans of
New England following suit. Christmas was outlawed in Boston, and the
Plymouth colony made celebrating Christmas a criminal offense, according
to "Once Upon a Gospel" (Twenty-Third Publications, 2008).

The Pilgrims who came to America in 1620 were strict Puritans, with firm
views on religious holidays such as Christmas and Easter. Scripture did not
name any holiday except the Sabbath. Puritans were particularly
contemptuous of Christmas, nicknaming it “Fools-tide” and banning their
flock from any celebration of it throughout the 17th and 18th centuries. On
the first December 25th of their existence in America, they spent it working
their fields just like any other day.
Christmas trees and decorations were considered to be unholy pagan
rituals, and the Puritans also banned traditional Christmas foods such as
mince pies and pudding. Puritan laws required that stores and
businesses remain open all day on Christmas, and town criers walked
through the streets on Christmas Eve calling out "No Christmas, no
Christmas!"

In England, the ban on the holiday was lifted in 1660, when Charles II took
over the throne. However, the Puritan presence remained in New England
and Christmas did not become a legal holiday until President Ulysses S.
Grant formally declared it a federal holiday in 1870. Schools continued to
hold classes on December 25th up until this time.

Why didn't Puritans like Christmas? They had several reasons, including
the fact that it did not originate as a Christian holiday. The upper classes in
ancient Rome celebrated December 25 as the birthday of the sun god
Mithras. The date fell right in the middle of Saturnalia, a month long holiday
dedicated to food, drink, and revelry (including orgies), and Pope Julius I is
said to have chosen that day to celebrate Christ's birth as a way of co-opting
the pagan rituals. Beyond that, the Puritans considered it historically
inaccurate to place the Messiah's arrival on December 25. They thought
Jesus had been born sometime in September. More on these Biblical hints
later.

Although the change was gradual, people began to once again embrace the
holiday until Christmas, as we know it today complete with mistletoe,
eggnog and candy canes was celebrated throughout the American colonies.

Let’s look at some facts that are readily available if anyone wants to know.
“The earliest reference to Christmas being marked on December 25 comes
from the second century after Jesus’ birth. It is considered likely the first
Christmas celebrations were in reaction to the Roman Saturnalia, a harvest
festival that marked the winter solstice—the return of the sun—and the
honored Saturn, the god of sowing. Saturnalia was a rowdy time, much
opposed by the more austere leaders among the still-minority Christian
sect. Christianity developed one scholar says, as a means of replacing
worship of the sun with worship of the Son. By 529 A.D., after Christianity
had become the official state religion of the Roman Empire, Emperor
Justinian made Christmas a civic holiday. The celebration of Christmas
reached its peak—some would say its worst moments—in the medieval
period when it became a time for conspicuous consumption and unequaled
revelry.” - The Buffalo News, Nov. 22, 1984

Think about this. It was 200-300 years after Christ that the Romans began
keeping Christmas. And hundreds of years after that (fifth century), it was
mandating that it be kept throughout the Empire as an official festival
honoring Christ.

Consider these admissions from the Catholic Encyclopedia under the term
Christmas: “Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the Church…
The first evidence of the feast is from Egypt. Pagan customs centering
around the January calends gravitated to Christmas.”

Under the topic Natal Day, from the writer Origen:

“In the scriptures, no one is recorded to have kept a feast or held a great
banquet on his birthday. It is only sinners (like Pharaoh and Herod) who
make great rejoicings over the day in which they were born into this
world.” – Catholic Encyclopedia, 1911 Edition, under “Christmas”

Encyclopedia Americana, 1956 Edition reveals: “Christmas…. was not

observed in the first centuries of the Christian church, since the Christian
usage in general was to celebrate the death of remarkable persons rather
than their birth…a feast was established in memory of this event (Christ’s
birth) in the fourth century. In the fifth century the Western church
ordered the feast to be celebrated forever on the day of the Mithraic rites of
the birth of the sun and at the close of the Saturnalia, as no certain
knowledge of the day of Christ’s birth existed.”

Encyclopedia Britannica, 15th Edition:

“In the Roman world the Saturnalia (December 17) was a time of
merrymaking and exchanging of gifts. December 25 was also regarded as
the birthdate of the Iranian mystery god Mithra, the Sun of Righteousness.
On the Roman New Year (January 1) houses were decorated with greenery
and lights and gifts were given to children and the poor. To these
observances were added the German and Celtic Yule rites…. when the
Teutonic tribes penetrated into Gaul, Britain and central Europe. Food and
good fellowship, the Yule log and Yule cakes, greenery and fir trees, gifts
and greetings…. all commemorated different aspects of this festive season.
Fires and lights, symbols of warmth and lasting life have always been
associated with the winter festival, both pagan and Christian.”

The Democrat and Chronicle, December 1984:

“The Roman festival of Saturnalia, December 17-24, moved citizens to
decorate their homes with greens and lights and give gifts to children and
the poor. The December 25 festival of Natalis Solis Invicti, the birth of the
unconquered sun was decreed by the emperor Aurelian in A.D. 274 as a
Winter Solstice celebration, and sometime (later) was Christianized as a
date to celebrate the birth of the Son of Light.”

“The early Romans were not celebrating Christmas but rather a pagan feast
called the Saturnalia. It occurred each year around the beginning of winter,
or the winter solstice. This was the time when the sun had taken its lowest
path across the sky and the days were beginning to lengthen, thus assuring
another season of growth. If many of the trappings of the Saturnalia
however seem to parallel what so many of us do today, we can see where
we borrowed…our holiday traditions. And indeed it has been suggested
that while Christ was most likely not born in late December, the early
Christians—then still an outlawed sect—moving Christmas to the time of
the Saturnalia to draw as little attention as possible to themselves while
they celebrated their own holiday.” - The Reporter Dispatch, December 18,
1989

There is no mistaking the source of the modern Christmas celebration.

Nearly all aspects of it have their roots in Roman custom and religion.
Pagan rituals and practices corrupted Christianity during the reign of
Constantine in the 300’s A.D. In an attempt at converting the pagans, he
found the need to combine Christian doctrine with that of paganism. The
pagans weren’t about to give up their special celebrations so they were
adopted by Rome. It was good for business and kept more people in check
and under control that way. And when it came to relics and idols, the
Roman Catholic Church actually believed they could pray over and anoint
“satanic” symbols and objects, thus making them “clean” for use in holy
worship services. Any time you put truth with error, it is error and can’t be
considered truth.

The word Saturnalia simply means the festival or celebration of Saturn. As

in the planet, Saturn. This is called paganism as it involves worshiping a
false god. The name of Saturday derived from the name of this god, as do all
of the other days of the week from pagan gods.

Who was the god of Saturn? Saturn was the god of sowing or planting, the
fire god. Because heat was required from the sun to allow for planting and
growth of crops. He was also worshiped in this dead of winter festival so
that he would come back (remember, he was the sun) and warm the earth
again so that spring planting could occur. The planet Saturn was later
named after him because among all of the planets with its rings and bright
red color, it best represented the god of fire.

Virtually every civilization has a fire-sun god. The Egyptians (and some-
times Romans) sometimes called him Vulcan. The Greeks named him
Kronos, as did the Phoenitians. But they also called him Saturn. The
Babylonians called him Tammuz (as Nimrod resurrected in the person of
his son), Molech or Baal, (as did the Druids). These were simply the various
names for Nimrod, the infamous Biblical rebel of Genesis 10. Nimrod was
considered the father of all of the Babylonian gods.

“An old Babylonish fable told of an evergreen tree which sprang up out of a
dead tree stump. The old stump symbolized the dead Nimrod, the new
evergreen tree symbolized that Nimrod had come to life again in Tammuz!
Among the Druids the oak was sacred, among the Egyptians it was the palm,
and in Rome it was the fir which was decorated with red berries during the
Saturnalia!” – William Walsh, Curiosities of Popular Customs

The Encyclopedia Americana states, “The holly, the mistletoe, the Yule log….
are relics of pre-Christian time.” In other words, paganism!

“The use of the Christmas wreath is believed by authorities to be traceable

to the pagan customs of decorating buildings and places of worship at the
feast which took place at the same time as Christmas.” - Frederic Haskin,
Answers to Questions.

Wreaths are circular, and in pagan/witchcraft practices and beliefs, the

“circle” is a fertility symbol and represents the “female womb”.

In the Celtic tradition, this represents the “wheel of the year”. Made of
evergreen, holly, and pinecones, this represents their god and goddess of
Yule. Encyclopedia Britannica under the topic, “Celastrales” exposes the
origin of the holly wreath: “European pagans brought holly sprays into
their homes offering them to the fairy people of the forests as refuge from
the harsh winter weather. During the Saturnalia, the Roman winter festival,
branches of holly were exchanged as tokens of friendship. The earliest
Roman Christians apparently used holly as a decoration at the Christmas
season.”

Holly trees and bushes come in all kinds of varieties, and in male and female
types. These can be “Blue Prince and Blue Princess or Blue Boy and Blue
Girl, or China Boy and China Girl. Female holly plants cannot have berries
in red unless a nearby male plant pollinates them. It is no wonder why they
have found their way into pagan rituals as a token of friendship and fertility
ceremonies.

Christmas is incomplete to many unless it involves “kissing under the

mistletoe.” This pagan custom was natural on a night that involved much
revelry done in the spirit of drunken orgies. Just like today, this kissing
usually started out at the beginning of the Saturnalia celebration. Mistletoe
was considered to have special powers of healing for those that reveled
under it.

Encyclopedia Britannica under “Santalales” states:

“The European mistletoe is thought to have had special ritual significance in
Druidical ceremonies and lives in folklore today, its special status as the
Christmas mistletoe having come from Anglo-Saxon times.”

Mistletoe is a parasite that thrives on oak trees. Keep in mind the Druids
worshiped in oak tree groves. The ancient Celtics associated with the
Druids and they use to give mistletoe as an herbal remedy to barren
animals to make them fertile. They also thought that it would protect them
from spells and curses. This herb is still revered to as an “all healer” in
Celtic. Mistletoe is a plant that leaches on sometimes out of nowhere to a
tree or plant that becomes the host source, and starts to take the nutrients
from it in order for the Mistletoe to grow and expand.

The Druids cut Mistletoe off of oak trees in a special ceremony five days
after the new moon following the winter solstice. They used special
White cloth to catch the mistletoe, believing it would be contaminated if it
touched the ground. Druids would then sacrifice two white bulls while
“prayers” were spoken. Priests gave out the mistletoe sprigs to the people
who believed they would be protected from evil spirits and storms.

So why do we kiss under it? It was believed to be a sexual symbol. Correct

Etiquette is for the man to remove one berry when he kisses a woman.
When the berries are gone, no more kissing under that plant is permitted.
A couple that kisses under the mistletoe will have good luck. And a couple
that refuses to kiss under it will have bad luck. Worse superstitions than
this existed. Young maidens placed a sprig of the plant under their pillow in
order to dream of their future lover. And women burned the plant to
foretell of a woman’s marital bliss or lack of.

Like mistletoe, holly berries were also thought to be sacred to the sun god.
The original “sun log” came to be called Yule log. When the sun began to
reverse and ascend to a longer period of time, this was a sign that all the
human sacrifices that the Celtic people had given on Halloween (Samhain)
had been accepted by the gods. In order to commemorate or celebrate the
sacrifices given, what they would do is to burn a Yule log. It is a
representation of Druid priests at that time burning human sacrifices.
Today they are available for purchase as nice decorations. But they have
nothing to do with Christianity.

Today some of these practices are actually hidden in songs that are sung.
“Troll the ancient Yuletide carol”, “See the blazing Yule before us”, and
“Deck the Halls.” So-called Christian music artist put these songs and many
more on their “Christmas” CD’s. What they are actually doing is glorifying
the inspiration of the demon’s work.

In Celtic tradition, the “Yule log” was decorated with holly and evergreen
strands and the set ablaze at sunset. It would burn all night until sunrise
the following morning.
The Yule log was commonly used in a rite of Teutonic nature worship. The
ancient ritual was to place the tree in the fire. The tree representing the
male parts, the fireplace or fire representing the female parts, thus the
conception or birth.

Yule simply means “wheel” which has long been a pagan representation of
The sun. No wonder people speak of the “sacred Yule tide season”. This
also explains the round wafer offered at mass to billions thru the ages.

How sobering are the facts of history. A common argument is that people
have replaced old pagan customs with the tradition of Christmas focusing
on Jesus. Many say they are honoring Christ in their Christmas keeping.

Yet every year millions and millions of children are told something that
starts out as a little white lie. The ninth commandment (Exodus 20:16)
tells us not to lie. But every year the majority of parents tell their children
a fat man in a red suit will be coming to town and into their homes, down a
chimney if we have one, to leave them gifts under a tree that is setup in our
living room. What are your children learning with all of this? That lying
works. And it can be a useful tool.

In scripture we are told two things.

1) 1 John 3:4 - Sin is transgression of the law.
2) Romans 6:23 – The wages of sin is death.

What are we really bringing upon our children by teaching them these
things? Death!

Proverbs 6:17 tells us two things that God hates.

“A lying tongue and hands that shed innocent blood.”
If we fail to educate ourselves, our children will perish.

Hosea 4:6 – “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou
hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest
to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy
children.”

Proverbs 14:12 – “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the
end thereof are the ways of death.”

Luke 15:16 – “…That which is highly esteemed among me is abomination

in the sight of God.”

The modern Christmas tree originated in Germany. But the Germans got it
from the Romans who got it from the Babylonians who got it from the
Egyptians.

Where did the Christmas tree come from? “The Christmas tree is from
Egypt, and its origin dates from a period long anterior to the Christian era.”
- Fredric Haskin, Answers to Questions

How many people know the Christmas tree long preceded the Christian
period? How come the New Testament church didn’t do anything in regard
to Christ’s birthday?

Most aspects of Christmas are not referred to in the Bible. Hence the reason
they are not from God. It is not the way he wants people to worship Him or
His Son. The Christmas tree however is actually mentioned in the Bible.
But many will put their feelings or other excuses before the scripture.

Here is what God says:

Jeremiah 10:2 - “Thus says the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen,
and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at
them.”

Why do millions ignore this plain statement from God and follow their
horoscopes? Or add superstitions to why the day gets shorter and then all
of a sudden starts to gradually get longer.
Jeremiah 10:3 -5 – “For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth
a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
v4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with
hammers, that it move not. v5 They are upright as the palm tree. but speak
not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of
them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.”

This description of the Christmas tree is pretty plain. He describes people

going into the forest, cutting down a tree, decorating it with tinsel and
trinkets and fastening it in place. But nowadays, you can buy a fake tree
that will last year after year. Or you can go to the corner lot in town and
purchase a real tree from a guy who has a truckload of them, fresh from
cutting. Some will say they love the fragrance of a fresh tree, and that it
brings life into the house. Actually you have stopped its life and have
brought in death into your household. God directly refers to the Christmas
tree here as the way of the heathen. He commands, learn not the way of the
heathen. He calls these customs, vain. This is idolatry! He didn’t like it in
the Old Testament, and he hasn’t changed since.

The most common justification one will hear regarding this holiday is that
people have replaced old pagan customs, asserting that they are now
Christian. Many say they are honoring Christ in their Christmas keeping.
Imagine the adorning of a tree with sparkling lights, glitter, ornaments, and
the excuse that they are honoring God somehow. The problem is God does
not say the keeping of this festival tradition is acceptable to Him. In fact he
plainly commands against it. Christmas keeping dishonors Christ! Every-
thing about it is an abomination.

It is time to open your mind and your Bible and listen to what God tells us.
Jesus made a stunning statement when he said, “But in vain they do worship
me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” - Matthew 15:9

Christmas is not a command of God. It is a tradition of man.

“…Full well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your
own tradition - Mark 7:9

Every year, hundreds of Millions of people do that exact thing.

No wonder Jesus said in Luke 6:46 – “Why call you Me, Lord, Lord, and do
not the things which I say?”

We have seen that God commands learn not the way of the heathen. But
most do not fear God and He lets them make their own decisions.

Lets review Deuteronomy 12:29-31 – “When the LORD your God shall cut
off the nations from before you…and you succeed them, and dwell in their
land take heed to yourself that you be not snared by following them…. and
that you enquire not after their gods, saying How did these nations serve
their gods? Even so will I do likewise. You shall not do so unto the LORD
your God for every abomination to the LORD, which He hates, have they
done unto their gods…”

Read and re-read this passage until it sinks in and rings in your ears. Then
read Deuteronomy 20:18 – “That they teach you not to do after all their
abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin
against the LORD your God.”

Scriptures Condemning the Practices of False Gods – Don’t go whoring!

Exodus 34:10-17
Exodus 23:23-33
Leviticus 20:22-26

In the second commandment (Exodus 20:4-5) it forbids all forms of

Idolatry, and in other passages, God declares He is a jealous God. He wants
us to do what He commands, not what false gods say.
Deuteronomy 12:32 – “What thing soever I command you, observe to do
it: you shall not add thereto, or diminish from it.”

In other words, do exactly as I say, nothing more, nothing less. These are
plain words to those that think they can mix outright paganism with a
supposed focus on Jesus. You have a choice to make. Listen to confused,
deceived false ministers, or listen to what God has to say.

Jesus told us in John 8:44 that Satan is the father of lies. Where did these
lies originate? They started around a tree. A tree in the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 3:3-4 “But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the
Garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither small ye touch it, lest ye
die. V4 And the Serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die.”

That was the first lie in the Bible. Does this tree look familiar? The tinsel
replicates the serpent from the Old Testament in the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 3:6 – “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,
and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one
wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her
husband with her; and he did eat.”

Christmas is a time of the year that appeals to the senses. Everyone loves a
decked out tree with all the ornaments tinsel on it and perhaps an angel or
star at the top of it. We are told in the Bible that stars symbolize angels.

Revelation 1:20 – “The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches.”
Lucifer is a fallen angel, or fallen star that wanted to be like the Most High
God and wanted to be worshiped. He wanted to be at the highest point. So
he is at the highest point found on every Christmas tree when people place
a “star” or “angel” at the crest of their tree.

Isaiah 14:12-14 – “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the
morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the
nations! v13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I
will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of
the congregation, in the sides of the north: v14 I will ascend above the
heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”

And so every year, at Christmas time, a tree is setup in the living room, a
satanic celebration of the fall of man, a celebration of Lucifer’s trickery. A
tree setup symbolizing Lucifer’s deception of the human race with him at
the top of the tree thanking him for gifts you have received not from God,
but from man.

Who really is this man we call Santa Claus? If you are going to impersonate
God, you have to have the same attributes that God has. This man is being
reported as something that he isn’t.

It is said that Santa is Omnipresent. That is how he gets from one house to
another across the world. Imagine this. Santa gets all around the world in
one night. That would make Santa all-powerful. That is a lot of chimneys,
chocolate cookies and milk!

He is all knowing. He knows if you’ve been sleeping, or if you’re awake. He

knows if you’ve been bad or good. He rewards the good, punishes the bad.
That sounds a little like the judgment of God. And he is said to have similar
attributes of God.

The origin of Santa Claus is interesting. It began as a fourth century

Catholic Bishop named Saint Nicholas. At that time it was known as a
religious movement, but a cult of Saint Nicholas. The Christmas Almanac
states that by the height of the middle Ages, Saint Nicholas was probably
invoked in prayer more than any other figure except the Virgin Mary and
Christ himself.

By the 17th century, Santa appears in the Netherlands and St. Nicholas was
adopted as “Sinter Klaas”. He gains folklore as magically passing from
housetop to housetop and entering through chimneys. Dutch settlers
brought these practices and beliefs into America in 1626 who brought their
beliefs and Nordic gods with them. The Norse god Thor was called the Yule
god. He was the god of the peasants and common people. He was
represented as an elderly man, jovial and friendly, with a heavy build, long
white hair and beard. His element was fire and his color was red. Thor
was also the god of thunder and lightning.

Keep in mind that Jesus compares Satan to lightning. This parallels Satan
with Thor. Luke 10:19 – “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”

There are too many other parallel traits to simply ignore. Thor, the Yule
god; the rumble and roar of thunder was said to be caused by the rolling of
his chariot, for he alone among the other gods, never rode on horseback, but
drove a chariot drawn by two white goats called Cracker and Gnasher. He
was fighting the giants of ice and snow, and thus became the Yule god. He
was said to live in the “Northland” where he had his palace among the
icebergs. He was said to yield a mighty hammer, but never use it against
humans. The fireplace in everyone’s home was sacred to him and he was
believed to enter through the chimney into his element of fire.

Lets review a few things about Thor:

• Elderly man, jovial and friendly, heavy build
• Long white beard and hair
• Element is fire and his color is red
• Drove a chariot drawn by two white goats name Cracker and
Gnasher
• He was the Yule god (Christmas time)
• Lived in the Northland (North pole)
• He was benevolent to humans
• The fireplace was a sacred place to him
• Came down through a chimney into his element: the Fire!

Thor is probably history’s most celebrated pagan god. His influence is

obvious as it was in ancient times, because the fifth day of the week,
“Thursday” is name after him, “Thorsday”, by the Romans. Thor’s symbol
was a hammer. A hammer is also the symbolic tool of the carpenter, toy-
builder Santa Claus. Thor’s helper’s were imps and fairy-tale creatures that
were also skilled craftsman. If you study Celtic culture and history, you will
discover that imps (elves) and fairy-tale creatures were not harmless, but
misbehaving nasty little creatures. People feared them.

It was here in America that the name transformed into Santa Claus.

“Sinter Klass was adopted by the country’s English speaking majority under
the name Santa Claus, and his legend of a kindly old man was united with
old Nordic folktales of a magician who punished naughty children and
rewarded good children with presents.” - Encyclopedia Britannica 99

Under controversy whether this “Saint” actually existed or not, Americans

introduced a radical change into the character’s storyline, adding a red
uniform with a balled stocking cap, a magical sleigh, flying reindeer, a magic
present bag and morphing powers. This was to make him more children
friendly. After all, children are the most vulnerable and through them, you
can transform parents easier. And you can witness that by the parents
taking the lead role in lying to their children about his existence and buying
presents on this fairy tale’s behalf.

The original Santa Claus had him arriving on a white horse, flying from
housetop to housetop. And in 1821, a poem was published, “The Children’s
Friend” and the magical white horse was transformed into a reindeer.

The Bible depicts Jesus here in Revelation 6:2 – “And I saw, and behold a
white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given unto
him; and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”

Not only was the white horse changed to a reindeer, but a sleigh was added
too. Remember, Nimrod had a chariot. Thor had a chariot. Children are
taught that Santa Claus is propelled through the night by 8 magical reindeer
that land Santa and his anti-gravity sleigh on the housetops of “good”
people all around the world.

Reindeer are horned animals and represent the horned god, “PAN”; also
referred to as the “stag god” in the pagan religions. In Satanism, the
number eight is the number of “new beginnings”.

The magic bag that Santa has is never ending. It doesn’t run out of presents,
they just keep coming out for that journey that ends in one night, covering
billions of households. His morphing power allows him to change shape so
that 300-pound stature will squeeze thru a chimney.

Here we have an illustration of Santa wearing his crown of thorns. This

crown is like a halo and represents the sun. It is made up of holly and
mistletoe. And it is nothing more than a mockery of the crown of thorns
that was placed on Christ and what He had to bear for us.
In 1969, Pope Paul VI officially decrees the “Feast of Saint Nicholas”
removed from the Roman Catholic calendar. It is under embarrassment of
this fallacy, the “mother church” decides to remove it.

Today Santa can be found in shopping malls and department stores and
children are told you better be good or else. And this is how parents control
their children today. “If you’re not good, Santa is not going to come see
you.”

How many of you have heard that as a child? How many are using that very
same technique today? Our children today fear the creature more than the
Creator. An image of make believe more so than the Almighty God Himself.

“In Asia Minor, “Santa” was a common name for Nimrod.” – Langer’s
Encyclopedia of World History

The fire god, who came down the chimneys of the ancient pagans, is the
same fire god to whom infants were burned in human sacrifices.

Today, Santa Claus comes from “Saint Nicholas” conceived by short story
author, Washington Irving in 1809. He deemed him, “jolly St. Nick.”

“Old Nick” is the nickname for the devil in many countries around the
world. Incidentally, God mentions in Revelation 2:6, 15 the deeds and
doctrine of the Nicolaitans is something that He hates.

• The word Nicolaitane means “follower of Nicholas.”

• The word Nikos means “conqueror, destroyer.”
• Laos means “people.”
• Nicolaitans are people who follow the conqueror or destroyer,
Nimrod!
• Nimrod (the Hunter) is often pictured with wings, holding reindeer
and a fir tree.
• Old Nick: A well-known British name of the Devil. “It seems
probable that this name is derived from the Dutch Nikken, the
devil.” – Encyclopedia of Occultism & Parapsychology

Anagrams are the use of rearranging letters in order to hide secret names
or words. This has been used by the occult world for years. Aelister
Crowley, a well known figure in the Occultist (Satanist) world from
Warwickshire, England who wrote a book called “Magic”, said “let all things
be concealed and let all things be done backwards so the common man
won’t try and figure it out.“ This sounds a little like Jesus speaking in
parables so that those that aren’t suppose to understand, won’t.

NOTE: Lucas and Lucis are New Age “code words” for Lucifer.

Alice Bailey (known as Mother of the New Age Movement except that it is
Old Age aka Witchcraft) founded Lucifer Publishing Company and changed
the name in 1924 to Lucis Trust. This is just one bold example of an
anagram. We know that Satan and Lucifer are one and the same being.

Now lets take a look at the name Santa Claus. If you change the name
around, anagrammatically, the name comes to light. Or you could say now,
the deception is more clearly.
Santa = Satan Claus = Lucas

This might leave you numb for a while if you have never considered this.

Satan, the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4) has always been in
Christmas. He is in fact, its author.
As it has been stated over and over, December 25 is the celebration of a
false deity. It surrounds the celebration of Tammuz, a false god, mentioned
in Ezekiel 8:13-14:
“He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater
abominations that they do. v14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate
of the LORD'S house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat
women weeping for Tammuz.”

It’s interesting that we’re celebrating the birth of Jesus’ birthday on the day
of a false god. How would you like it if they were celebrating your birthday
on the birthday of your worst enemy? That might be a tough question to
swallow, but it is real and in the context of everything going on.

This false god is the god of Babylon. The story of Tammuz comes from
ancient Babylon. And it is said that Nimrod, after his premature death went
to live in the Sun. The name of his wife was Semiramis. But this was his
Mother too because he married her! And Semiramis became pregnant after
Nimrod’s death and gave birth to a Son who was Nimrod incarnated and
named Tammuz. This combination is also part of the trinity god history that
has leaked into Christian-dom.

Other surrounding cultures have different names for Tammuz. In each

legend, he dies young and his birth and death are honored on his birthday.
Which coincides with the winter solstice. This was celebrated on December
25th. Part of the religious ritual involves cutting down a young green
evergreen tree, which kills the tree as a way of commemorating the
premature death of Tammuz. This tree is then decorated in the fashion
Jeremiah described of in the Bible as woman were weeping over the death
of their deity, Tammuz. Sun worship is closely related to the end of the
winter solstice when the sun begins to stay in the sky longer.
This was a celebration of the death and the birth of the sun or the New Year.
There are quite a few crazy angles to this history and story depending on
which pagan culture you are a part of.

Lets examine the words Merry Christmas. The Roman Catholic Church
believing it had the authority to change dates and times changed the
celebration of the Winter Solstice to December 25th (a few days later) and
renamed it Christmas or “Christ-Mass”. In Latin, the word “Christi” means
“Christ”, while the word “Mas” means “Mass”.

The part of “mas” is a Catholic word only. And in religious use, it means a
death sacrifice. In Catholicism, during a Mass, prayers are spoken and go
out to the dead saints of the church. It is this way in pagan Masses also.
Seeing how this holiday is the whole influence of Satan, keep this in mind
when viewing this greeting.

In saying, “Merry Chris – mas you are literally saying, “Merry Death of
Christ”. The impact of this fact just might shock you. The enunciation
doesn’t even pronounce Christ’s name in it, yet some people will get
offended with the thought of removing Christ from Chris-mas. It was never
there to begin with!

Imagine when a Santa figure says “Ho, ho, ho,” it is actually Satan laughing
over the suffering of Christ as he was being whipped and beaten, bleeding
profusely. So next time you think of placing your children into the lap of a
fake Santa to entertain his lies and these fake gifts that he is going to NOT
deliver, think about all of this before you even breath the words Merry
Chris-mas.
Make the commitment now to break the Christmas chain and Just Say NO to
it. It is time to throw away the tree, the decorations and stop the gifting.

Only God truly knows the heart. Only the Creator of all, knows truly if his
children are good or bad. He is the only one that is all seeing. Satan claims
to have that all seeing eye. He is a liar.

Teach your children of the real story of Jesus Christ. Tell your neighbors,
tell your friends and family. Tell them why you are no longer observing!

Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

More of this gift is told to us in John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should
not perish, but have everlasting life.”

That is the gift, and it is a FREE gift! He gave us the world and we gave the
dominion to Satan thru our father Adam when we sin. And since then,
Satan has been manipulating multitudes of children of Adam into sin, lying
and worshiping idols. And he laughs when we do this.

God gave us the ultimate gift of Jesus Christ dying for our sins. He paid the
ultimate price. All we need to do is to accept the gift. He took the penalty
and nailed it to the cross. It is not December 25th that you need to receive
this gift, but it is today if you will receive this gift of salvation and every day.

It is the love of God and His Son that brings us this truth and this message
for so many that have been deceived. This is the message that should be
shared at this time to pull others out of the deception.

Jesus said in John 8:31-32 – “…. If ye continue in my word, then are ye my

disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you
free.”
The Reconciliation of Jesus Christ’s Birth

Without getting into deep theological discussion, it is well accepted that

Christ was crucified in 31 AD. Stephen was stoned in the Fall 34 AD. The
spacing of Christ and Stephen is foretold in Daniel 9:24-27. You will find
others will move these years around, one here or there with a difference of
opinion and that is fine. There is no disputing that Christ died in the spring
(March-April): more than likely in the month of April. The most important
part of this is to show that Christ was not born anywhere near the month of
December.

And now today, we can see the effects of how well the remnant has
converted the world. This was warned to happen, as the world has
converted the church.

Oh my, how we have fallen. We think we are witnessing to bring

people in, when in fact at the time of Christmas and Easter, those are
the only two times of the year that someone would go to their own
church. Why would God send anyone into your church’s Baal worship
as a visitor? Can anyone tell anymore that this is part of a peculiar set
of people?

Don’t think to put Christ into something he was never in to begin with.
“Conformity to worldly customs converts the church to the
world; it never converts the world to Christ. Familiarity
with sin inevitably causes it to appear less repulsive. He
who chooses to associate with the servants of Satan will
soon cease to fear their master.” - Great Controversy, 509.1

Take Christ out of Christmas because He was

never in it to begin with.

Pagans are the reason for the season.
