We are thrilled to extend an invitation to your esteemed institution and its brilliant
students to participate in the vibrant celebration of our cultural fest, SYNERGY,
scheduled for Friday, 9th August 2024. This year, our fest promises a dynamic
blend of enthralling performances, stimulating competitions, and thought-
provoking exhibitions.

SYNERGY will be a showcase of diverse artistic expressions and intellectual


endeavours, featuring a range of meticulously curated events designed to spark
creativity and foster camaraderie. From captivating theatrical performances to
mesmerizing musical recitals, from innovative scientific displays to eloquent
oratory, our fest offers students a unique platform to demonstrate their talents and
engage in friendly competition.

This event serves as a melting pot of varied perspectives, encouraging the


exchange of ideas that transcend boundaries and enrich our collective
understanding. As proponents of holistic education, we believe that participation in
such events not only nurtures talent but also builds character, instilling values of
teamwork, dedication, and perseverance.

We sincerely hope that your institution will grace us with its presence, adding to the
fest’s vibrancy and fostering lasting connections between our student
communities. Please find attached the brochure for detailed information of the
events and competition categories. We request you to confirm your participation
by 24th July 2024 to help us in the planning and logistics of the event.

Should you need any further information or assistance, please feel free to contact
the event convenors. We eagerly await your confirmation and look forward to the
pleasure of hosting your students for this memorable occasion.

General Guidelines

All schools should register by July 24, 2024 through the attached
Google form link

All participants should report at the reception by 8:00 am on Friday,


9th August 2024.
Each participating school must have an accompanying teacher on
the day of the event for all offline events.
The participants should wear school uniform except for events that
require them to be in special costume.
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
All the participating schools will have to abide by the rules and
guidelines mentioned event-wise, failing which the teams will be
disqualified.
Schools will be registered on a first-come, first served basis.
Online events will be conducted on the MS-Teams platform. Details
for the events will be shared by Event Convenors.
The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Participants are requested to take care of their belongings.
The host School will participate in all the events but not compete for
the Rolling Trophy.

The result will be uploaded on the school website by 10th August,

General Guidelines:
Participant must wear costume representing a specific country.
Enhance your costume with creative elements to show a
personalized touch.
The presentation should include an introduction and explanation
of the significance of his/her chosen dress. It should cover cultural
aspects and any interesting or relevant facts about the dress from
the chosen country.
Participant must conduct thorough research about his/her chosen
attire.
Utilization of props and accessories is recommended to elevate
and enrich the presentation.
The medium of presentation should be English.
Time limit should be adhered to.

General Guidelines:
Each team will be provided with a Creative Capsule containing
materials (like paper, straw, beads etc.) and a problem statement at
the beginning of the event.
Additional materials or tools, not provided in the Creative Capsule,
are not to be used.
The solution to the given problem is to be demonstrated using
imagination, scientific concept and creativity, within the stipulated
time frame.
One participant from each class is mandatory.

In this narrative adventure, the teams will craft an age old fairy tale
infused with a dash of AI .

5. The Three Little Pigs

They must develop a unique version of the fairy tale by


incorporating elements of Artificial Intelligence.
The presentation must be in the form of a dramatic performance.
Participants should dress according to the storyline.
Ensure the story is engaging and clearly delivered.
At least one participant from each class is mandatory.

Teachers/students can play instruments.
Certificate of participation will not be given to the accompanist.
Use of karaoke/track is prohibited.
Costumes should be according to the theme of the performance.
At least 3 participants from each class is mandatory.

General Guidelines:
Teams must employ no more than three mathematical concepts in
their design.
- Mathematical concepts like geometric shapes, symmetry, fractals,
mensuration or any other relevant topic can be included in the
design.
The use of biodegradable materials is highly preferred to promote
sustainability.
Participants must bring all necessary materials with them to the
competition venue.
Participants will be given a common time slot of 20 minutes to
assemble their final structure at the venue.
Ensure all components are prepared for quick assembly within this
time frame.
Each team will have 3 minutes to present their structure to the judges.
The presentation must include an explanation of the mathematical
concepts used in the design.
Both participants must speak during the presentation to demonstrate
teamwork and shared understanding.

General Guidelines:
The composition must be entirely original and authored by the
participant.
Participant must perform in his/her school uniform respectively.
The use of any props during the presentation is strictly prohibited.
The composition should maintain a respectful tone and must not
include any material that is obscene, provocative, defamatory, or
otherwise inappropriate.
It is essential that the composition does not offend or disrespect the
religious or political sentiments of any community.
Non-compliance with these guidelines may result in immediate
disqualification of the participant.
Plagiarism, in any form, is strictly prohibited and will lead to automatic
disqualification.

Each Team shall be given 3 minutes to present their scientific idea
using Prototype/3D model along with a presentation. This will be
followed by a Question & Answer round for 1 minute by the judges.
The size of the model should not exceed 4x5 feet.
The scientific idea should be profitable for the masses and
sustainable too.

Mathematics Relay will be in two rounds:
Round 1: Screening Round
Teams will solve a given quiz to qualify for Round 2.
Round 2: Qualified Team will participate in Mathematics Relay.
Rules shall be given on the spot.
Participants should be from different grades.

General Guidelines:
The participants are required to present a scientific concept and
its impact on LiFE (Lifestyle For Environment). The participants are
required to use waste material of any kind. They may choose any
one of the following sub-themes:
1. Types of Motion ( Physics)
2. An Evolutionary Timeline of Homo sapiens (Biology)
3. Bonding and Hybridisation (Chemistry)
The participants have to bring their own required material.
Hardboard of size 4ft X 3 ft will be provided by the host school.
Project display created will be the property of the host school.
The participants need to inform the host school about the sub
theme they have chosen via provided mail id

subthemes have limited entries and will be provided on the first
come first basis.
