TOPIC – GIVING SUBSIDIES AND RESERVATIONS ARE A FORM OF BRIBERY

• Criteria of evaluation-
a) Content - All of the information that you present should be accurate. You and your
team should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the issue
and should discuss all of the points that best support your case. You should not be
expected to bring up points that do damage to your case - that is the job of the
opposition.
b) Preparation - Each member of the team is responsible for giving a well-constructed
opening statement of a minute to a minute and a half in length. During the course of
the debate you should have facts at your fingertips and counter-arguments ready to
go depending on the performance of the opposition. You are permitted to bring into
the debate: note cards, outlines, books and any other helpful resource. You should
also be prepared to make a closing statement of approximately one minute that
emphasizes your most important points.
c) Argumentation - The arguments you make during the debate should be logical and
demonstrate a clear analysis of the issue. Appropriate emphasis should be given to
your strongest arguments, but you shouldn’t harp on only a single point for too long.
Finally, you should demonstrate that you have heard and understand your opponent’s
arguments by meeting them head on and giving your best counter-arguments.
d) Presentation - You should speak confidently and with conviction. In order to do this,
you must make eye contact with the class and speak clearly.

1) उच्चारण: कवि द्िारा शब्दों का स्पष्ट और सही उच्चारण होना चाहहए।
2) स्मरण: कवि को अपनी कविता याद होनी चाहहए और बिना हहचककचाए सुनाना चाहहए।
3) प्रस्तुतत:कवि को मंच पर आत्मविश्िास और सहजता के साथ प्रस्तुतत दे नी चाहहए।
a. आत्मविश्िास: कवि को मंच पर आत्मविश्िास से भरा हुआ हदखना चाहहए और अपनी कविता को
बिना ककसी डर के सुनाना चाहहए।
b. शैली: कवि की कविता की शैली आकर्षक और अनोखी होनी चाहहए।
4) विषय-िस्त:ु कवि की कविता में हास्य और मनोरं जन का तत्ि होना चाहहए।
5) सामाजिक संदेश: कवि की कविता में कोई सामाजजक संदेश होना चाहहए जो लोगों को सोचने के ललए प्रेररत
करे ।
