Prophetic Theme: I AM REDEEMED A WONDER TO MY WORLD – Jhn 3:8
Teaching series: UNLOCKING THE SUPERNATURAL – Exo. 4:17
Introduction:
The supernatural is the manifestation of the Word we receive, believe and obey, which God
confirms into signs and wonders – Jhn. 1:12/ Mak. 16:15-16/20
John 1:12
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his
name:
Mark 16:15-16
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach
the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is
baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be
damned.
Mark 16:20
20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord
working with them, and confirming the word with signs
following. Amen.
The supernatural is simply a product of our obedience of faith – Jhn 2:3-11/ Jhn 9:1-8/ Jhn
14:21
John 2:3-11
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto
him, They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what
have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. 5 His mother
saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. 6
And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the
manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three
firkins apiece. 7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with
water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And he saith unto
them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast.
And they bare it. 9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the
water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but
the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the
feast called the bridegroom, 10 And saith unto him, Every man
at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have
well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the
good wine until now. 11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in
Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his
disciples believed on him.
John 9:1-9
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his
birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did
sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus
answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but
that the works of God should be made manifest in him. 4 I must
work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night
cometh, when no man can work. 5 As long as I am in the world,
I am the light of the world. 6 When he had thus spoken, he spat
on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed
the eyes of the blind man with the clay, 7 And said unto him,
Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation,
Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came
seeing. 8 The neighbours therefore, and they which before had
seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and
begged? 9 Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but
he said, I am he.
John 14:21
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is
that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my
Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
But the knowledge of who we are is what determines what we can do – Isa. 29:11/ Jam.
1:23
Isa 29:11
11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a
book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned,
saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is
sealed:
James 1:23-25
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like
unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he
beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway
forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh
into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he
being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man
shall be blessed in his deed.
Week 2 (Sunday. April 13, 2025): Unlocking the Supernatural – Part 2
But who am I?
By redemption, I am seated with Christ in Heavenly places far above all principalities and
powers – Eph. 2:6/ Eph. 1:20-21
Eph 2:6
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in
heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Eph 1:20-21
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the
dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and
dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this
world, but also in that which is to come:
By redemption, I have been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of
light – Col. 1:13/ Rom. 16:20
Col 1:13
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath
translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Rom 16:20
20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet
shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
I am redeemed an overcomer – 1Jhn. 5:4
1 John 5:4
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this
is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Unlocking the Supernatural by the Power of Faith
Faith puts believers in command of the supernatural – Mak. 9:23/ Mat. 8:8-10/13/
Mat.15:22-28
Mark 9:23
23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are
possible to him that believeth.
Matt 8:8-10
8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that
thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only,
and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under
authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go,
and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my
servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he
marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto
you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Matt 8:13
13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou
hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was
healed in the selfsame hour.
Matt 15:22-28
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same
coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord,
thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a
devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples
came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth
after us. 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto
the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25 Then came she and
worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26 But he answered and
said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it
to dogs. 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the
crumbs which fall from their masters' table. 28 Then Jesus
answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it
unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole
from that very hour.
The hand of God that commands the supernatural can only be brought to bear by faith –
Isa. 53:1/Jhn 14:10/ Mak. 16:20
Isa 53:1
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the
Lord revealed?
John 14:10
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in
me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but
the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Mark 16:20
20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord
working with them, and confirming the word with signs
following. Amen.
Our level of command of the supernatural is defined by the level of faith at work in us –
Act. 24:14/ Phi. 4:13/ Act. 19:11-12
Acts 24:14
14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they
call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all
things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
Phil 4:13
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Acts 19:11-12
11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 So
that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs
or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil
spirits went out of them.
It is by the word of our mouth that we command the supernatural because our words are
seeds – Gen. 8:22/ Mak. 11:23
Gen 8:22
22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold
and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not
cease.
Mark 11:23
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this
mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and
shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things
which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he
saith.
Jesus is Lord!
Covenant Day of Favour
A Hundred years of labour can never compare in value with one day of
favour from God – Exo. 3:21/ Exo. 12:36/40-41
Ex 3:21
21 And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians:
and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go
empty:
Ex 12:36
36 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the
Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they
required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
Ex 12:40-41
40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in
Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. 41 And it came to pass
at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the
selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went
out from the land of Egypt.
But we don’t wait for favour; favour has to be intreated or provoked – Pro.
13:15/ Psa. 45:12
Prov 13:15
15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of
transgressors is hard.
Ps 45:12
12 And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the
rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.
The following are some of the ways to provoke favour from God:
1. Be born again and remain so – Eph. 2:8/ Psa. 5:12
Eph 2:8
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ps 5:12
12 For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou
compass him as with a shield.
2. No one with a heart truly panting after God and the interest of His kingdom
ever runs out of favour with God – Psa. 102:13-15/ Psa. 35:27/ Mat. 6:33
Ps 102:13-15
13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to
favour her, yea, the set time, is come. 14 For thy servants take
pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof. 15 So the
heathen shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the
earth thy glory.
Ps 35:27
27Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous
cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified,
which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
Matt 6:33
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.
3. Staying in love with God entitles believers to continuous flow of favour – 1
Sam. 13:14/ 1 Chr. 28:4
1 Sam 13:14
14 But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the Lord hath sought
him a man after his own heart, and the Lord hath commanded
him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept
that which the Lord commanded thee.
1 Chron 28:4
4 Howbeit the Lord God of Israel chose me before all the house
of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen
Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of
my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to
make me king over all Israel:
4. Walking in obedience to God’s instructions unleashes divine favour upon
believers – Deut. 28:1-12/ Jhn 14:21
Deut 28:1-12 [ABRIDGED]
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto
the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his
commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord
thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee,
if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. 3
Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in
the field. 4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of
thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine,
and the flocks of thy sheep. 5 Blessed shall be thy basket and
thy store.
Deut 28:12-13
12 The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven
to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the
work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and
thou shalt not borrow. 13 And the Lord shall make thee the head,
and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt
not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments
of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe
and to do them:
John 14:21
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is
that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my
Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Expect to begin to flow in favour as you align with the covenant terms for
favour.
Jesus is Lord!
