Focus on a picture

A. Look at the picture. Answers these questions. Use your ideas.

1. What time of the year is it?


2. What are these people’s names?
3. Where are they? What’s the name of this place?
4. How and when did they come here?
5. What time is it now?
6. What’s in the book the boy is looking at?
7. What are they going to do next?

B. Now use your answers in A to complete the story.

Make sentences longer

1. A bird is standing

3. We can see the sun
4. There’s a clock

6. There’s a beach umbrella

Look at the words in the box. Add them to the sentences those above sentences and make longer
sentences about the picture.
