IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cambridge Lower Secondary (ST9) Mid-Term 3 Assessments are written on the days Monday 19th May 2025, Wednesday 21st May 2025 and Friday 23RD MAY
2025 (shaded light green on timetable).
2. Exam times are from 9:00 am – 10:00am (1st Exam) and from 11:00am – 12:00am (2nd Exam- except for English which has 1 hour 10 mins duration).
Subject-specific durations for each exam are indicated on page 2 (Question paper structure).
3. On days where there are no exams (Tuesday 20th May 2025 and Thursday 22ND May 2025), revision for next day exams and normal lessons will be done.
4. ALL LEARNERS should be at school by 7:50am for EXAM PREPARATION which is from (8:00 – 8:30am).
Late comers may NOT be allowed to sit for the exam.
5. EXAM MATERIALS: dark blue pen, HB pencil, compass, protractor, eraser, 30cm ruler, calculator.
6. Refer to page 2 for structure of each paper and page 3 for exam rules and regulations.

EXAMINATIONS RULES AND REGULATIONS
Notice to Candidates
Warning: know the rules before you take your examinations.
1 You MUST be present on all exams.
2 You must be on time for all your examinations.
3 You must provide what you need e.g. dark blue ball point pens, pencils, rulers etc. Correction fluid/tape and
highlighter pens are not accepted. Calculators can be used unless you are told not to do so.
4 You must not be involved in any unfair or dishonest practice before, during or after the examination.
5 You must not:
• sit an examination in the name of another candidate;
• have in your possession any unauthorized material/equipment (phones, laptops, watches etc).

6 Possession of unauthorized material is breaking the rules, even if you do not decide to use it. If found in
possession of unauthorized material you will be penalized or disqualified.
7 You must not communicate with or disturb other candidates once you enter the examination room.
8 You must follow the instructions of the invigilator. If you are in any doubt, raise up your hand as a signal to the
invigilator and ask with a low voice to avoid disturbances.
9 Before each exam fill in your details on the question paper in CAPITAL LETTERS as shown below:

10 You must, when leaving the examination room, leave behind the question paper.
