Replacing older crane components—such as the
Control Pro condition monitoring unit—can bring
the benefits of the latest technology to your crane.
Master Pro is Konecranes’ next generation of condition
monitoring unit and is a key component in our
advanced control system.
One of the biggest benefits of the new unit is that
the upgradable design and the addition of the IoT
Gateway modem makes it easy to make software
updates and configure asset parameters. This means
better on-site productivity for technicians which
means less downtime. The unit also aids in safety
and compliance by conforming to the latest safety
standards.
When just replacing the unit with the Master Pro, it
provides overload protection and tracks information
such as alerts and operating statistics, but the data
is stored locally within the unit. With the addition of
the modem you can take advantage of TRUCONNECT
Remote Monitoring which provides condition, usage
and operating data in an easy-to-read format on the
yourKONECRANES customer portal as well as alerts of
certain anomalies.
Replacing your Control Pro unit with the new Master
Pro is an easy update. The new unit features the
same dimensions as the Control Pro so no additional
space is needed to install. In addition to the condition
monitoring unit replacement, you can also add a
modem to take full advantage of the technology.
