VIII. Rationale:

The barangay fiesta program serves as a cornerstone of Filipino

communal life, blending religious devotion, cultural preservation, and
social cohesion. Rooted in honoring a patron saint, it fosters gratitude and
spiritual reflection through masses and processions, while simultaneously
celebrating local heritage via traditional music, dances, and folk games.

By uniting residents, families, and visitors in shared festivities, it

strengthens the bayanihan spirit of cooperation and hospitality, reinforces
community identity, and stimulates local economies through small
businesses and tourism, all while providing a platform to address social
issues and nurture collective resilience.

IX. Objectives

This aims to:

1. Celebrate the patron saint's feast and express community
gratitude.
2. Strengthen unity and camaraderie among residents through
shared activities.
3. Promote local talents, culture, and values while discouraging
negative influences.
