Blue Illustrative Organic Ocean Habitat Presentation

Oysters primarily eat phytoplankton and inhabit brackish and saltwater environments along the Atlantic coast from Canada to Argentina. There are over 200 species of oysters, but many populations are declining due to over-harvesting and diseases, leading to some being considered functionally extinct. Fun facts include their ability to filter over two gallons of water per hour and their capacity to change genders.
