PO Laguna No. 014 S. 2024

TO : TVI and TTI Administrators

FROM : The Provincial Director

TESDA Laguna Provincial Office

SUBJECT : PTESDC Meeting Agreements

DATE : September 3,2024

As we continue to strive for excellence in the delivery of Technical Vocational

Education and Training (TVET), TESDA Laguna reiterates the key agreements
discussed during the Provincial Technical Education and Skills Development
Committee (PTESDC) meetings. These agreements are crucial in ensuring the
quality and effectiveness of our programs and services.
The following are the agreements that require your compliance:
1. Conduct of Gender and Development (GAD) Trainings in the TVIs
“The Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) as private educational institutions and
partners of TESDA in the implementation of its TVET programs should also adhere
to and comply to the Gender and Development (GAD) programs for the mutual
benefits of their clients, which are the trainees in the Technical Vocational
Education and Training (TVET).”
To facilitate the implementation of these programs, the TVI administrators, staff
and trainees must enroll and complete the TESDA Online Program (TOP) on GAD
upon receipt of this memorandum.

Gender and Development Trainings in the TVIs and the Creation of Committee on Decorum and
Investigation (CODI)

2.Creation of Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI)

“In the Section IV of Republic Act 7877 or the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of
1995, it specifically states that the duty of the employer or head of office in-charge
in a work related education or training environment or institution, is to create a
Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) of cases on sexual harassment.

“The CODI shall be composed of at least one representative from the
administration (to be headed by a woman) , the trainers, instructors, professors,
coaches , and students as the case may be, and the duration of their membership
shall be two years.”

Investigation (CODI)

3. Attendance to Employment Coaching:

“TVIs and TTIs are required to coordinate with the Provincial Employment Service
Office (PESO) of Laguna to arrange for employment coaching for your trainees.
Please ensure that a letter of request is submitted to PESO to facilitate this
process, in compliance with the relevant resolution and meeting agreement.”
For easier access for employment coaching, TVIs should coordinate with the
PESO in their respective cities and municipalities before the training ends.

Resolution No. 007, Series of 2023

4. Adoption of PESO Employment Facilitation:

“TVIs and TTIs are required to adopt the employment facilitation initiatives by the
TESDA Laguna Provincial Office. This includes ensuring that your graduates sign
up for the Province of Laguna Employment Information System (PLEIS) to
increase their chances of securing job-matched employment.”
Reference: Resolution No. 003, Series of 2023

In line with this, all TVIs and TTIs should comply with the agreements
discussed at the PTESDC meetings for the improvement of the implementation of
TESDA Programs and services in Laguna. TESDA Laguna will implement a
simplified monitoring system to ensure full compliance to these agreements.
