BELGUARD DHHB (Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate) is a UVAI filter that absorbs UVradiation to
protect skin from sunburn and cancer. It shows absorptivity at 354nm.It is oil soluble UVAfilter havingoutstanding
photostability. Because of its hydrophobic & oil soluble nature it is particularly used in water repellent & water-
resistant formulations. It is used as an UV-Babsorbingagent in sunscreen creams, lotions, lipsticks and sun oils. It
has good compatibility withall organic UV filters as well as inorganic UV filters.It is soluble in ethanol.It is well
soluble in wide range of cosmetic oils.It provides highly effective, photostable protection results in no generation
of free radicals.
