2nd SPTA General Assembly Accomplishment Report
Overview
The 2nd SPTA (School Parents-Teachers Association) Assembly took place on
April 10, 2025. This assembly aims to enhance communication between parents and
teachers, share important updates, and address community concerns.
Objectives
To present the whole year’s financial report.
To highlight SPTA and school accomplishments.
To facilitate open discussion regarding school matters.

1. Welcome Address
Mr. Weney P. Amores, who emphasized the importance of collaboration between
parents and teachers for the success of the students.
Sir Weney P. Amores also shared the essence of the assembly, emphasizing
“Collaboration for Success,” which encapsulates the shared responsibility of parents
and teachers in nurturing students’ growth. He encouraged attendees to view this
gathering not just as a meeting, but as an opportunity to build stronger connections
within the school community.
Sir Weney also reflected on the accomplishments of the past year, noting how
increased parental involvement has positively impacted student performance and
morale. He expressed gratitude to all parents, teachers, and staff for their unwavering
support and dedication.
To set the tone for the assembly, Sir Weney invited everyone to engage openly,
share their thoughts, and ask questions throughout the presentations. This inclusive
approach aimed to ensure that every voice was heard, reinforcing the idea that
collaboration leads to better outcomes for students.
Starting with Grade 7, Ma’am Ruth called out Section Mercury, and two parents
proudly stood up, representing their children. Next, Section Venus was announced,
and seven parents rose, showcasing their commitment to the school community.
The process continued seamlessly with Grade 8. For Section Daisy, six parents
stood, followed by the ten parents from Section Rose, each one greeted with applause
from the audience, reinforcing the supportive environment.
As Grade 9 was called, Section Silver had four representatives, while Section
Gold had seven. The acknowledgment of each group fostered a sense of belonging
among the parents.
Moving to Grade 10, Section Galilei had thirteen parents standing, and Section
Einstein had a remarkable twenty-one, demonstrating strong parental involvement.
In Grade 11, Section Haleymenia had five parents stand up, and Section
Floridaea had six, reflecting their dedication to their children's education.
Finally, Grade 12 was called, with Section Halophila seeing ten parents rise,
followed by fourteen from Section Thalasia, rounding out the impressive attendance.
This moment not only recognized parental involvement but also set a positive
tone for the rest of the assembly.
She highlighted the major topics covered, such as updates on school programs,
financial reports, and the initiatives that were launched since the previous meeting.
As she read through the minutes, Fielyn emphasized the collaborative efforts
between parents and teachers, noting how these discussions had led to successful
events and improvements in student engagement. She also took a moment to remind
everyone of the suggestions made by parents in the last meeting, which had been
addressed over the past months.
With a clear and organized approach, Fielyn outlined each item that would be
discussed, ensuring everyone understood what to expect. She began by stating the
purpose of the assembly and how the agenda was structured to facilitate meaningful
discussions.
e. Open Forum for Other Matters, Issues, and Concerns - An opportunity for
parents to voice concerns and suggestions.
With the agenda established, Fielyn concluded her presentation, handing the
floor back to Mr Edwin for his Financial Report, thus maintaining the assembly's
momentum.

A transparent overview of the budget for the previous and upcoming year was
presented clearly and parents were encouraged to ask questions, leading to a
constructive discussion on financial planning.
e. Open Forum
The assembly concluded with an open forum where attendees voiced concerns, but
luckily only 1 question was raised and it was answered and explained clearly by Ma’am
Iresh Duran and Ma’am Ruth P. Agalot, both are school heads
5. Closing Remarks
The assembly ended with closing remarks from Ma’am Shenly Rose J. Mosende
a BOD Representative, summarizing key takeaways and encouraging continued
collaboration. Parents were reminded of the importance of their involvement in the
school community.
6. Conclusion
The 2nd SPTA Assembly was a productive and engaging event, providing a
platform for meaningful dialogue between parents and school staff. The insights gained
will guide future activities and initiatives aimed at enhancing educational experience for
all students.
