NARRATIVE REPORT 5

March 22, 2025

On February 22, 1025, the NSTP class gathered to discuss important academic matters and finalize
the details of our planned community project, Step Up, Clean Up: A Clean-up Drive with Essential
Materials, Hazard Signage, and Waste Segregation. The session began with a prayer, but unlike
previous meetings, we did not sing the National Anthem, the UC Hymn, or recite the Pledge of
Allegiance. The discussion primarily focused on upcoming academic deadlines, including our final
examination on March 29, 2025, the coverage of our project proposal, and the submission
schedules for book activities and narrative reports.

A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to planning our clean-up drive, which aims to
promote environmental responsibility and community safety. We outlined three key objectives:
distributing cleaning materials to support the clean-up effort, installing hazard signage to enhance
safety awareness, and promoting proper waste segregation for better environmental management.
Additionally, we emphasized the enforcement of community regulations, such as “No Loitering,”
“No Urinating,” “No Throwing of Garbage Along the River,” and “No Vandalism.” These
measures are intended to instill discipline and encourage sustainable practices within the
community.

Through this planning session, we ensured that our clean-up initiative would be well-organized
and effective once implemented. Careful preparation allows us to minimize risks and maximize
the impact of our efforts. As we move forward with our academic and community engagement
responsibilities, our NSTP class remains committed to fostering environmental awareness and
civic responsibility.
