Answer – Components of MS 3D Paint
i) Menu – This contains many options such as New, Open, Save etc.

ii) Brushes – Brushes tool displays 10 brush options to control thickness, opacity, material
and the colour palette.

iii) 2D Shapes – 2D shapes tool allows us to draw circles, capsules, triangle etc.

iv) 3D Shapes – 3D shapes tool allows to create shapes and doodles.

v) Stickers – Striker tool is fun tags which can be placed on drawings.

vi) Text – Text tool is used to add caption, title or summary to our project.

vii) Effects – Effects can be used on text or images to make the drawing more attractive.

viii) Canvas – Canvas is the drawing area.

ix) 3D Library – 3D library has a collection of 3D objects such as fruits, flowers, animals,
objects etc.

x) Panel – This area shows all the tools of selected option.

a) What is Paint 3D? (1)
Answer – Paint 3D is an undated version of MS Paint developed by Microsoft. This drawing program
is used to create, edit and print 3D shapes.
b) What is 2D shape? (1)
Answer – 2D shape is also called flat shapes. 2D shapes comprises of two dimensions, length and
width.
c) What is 3D shape? (1)
Answer – 3D shapes are solid and real looking shapes. 3D shapes comprises of three dimensions,
length, width and height.
d) How to start paint 3D? (5)
Answer – To start paint 3D following steps should be followed,
First we have to click on the Start button on the bottom left corner of the monitor.
Then after clicking a list of applications will appear.
Scroll and find Paint 3D.
Click on the Paint 3D.
Now after opening Paint 3D, click on the New option to start a new project.
e) How to draw 3D objects? (5)
Answer –To draw 3D objects following steps to be followed,
Firstly you have to click on the 3D shapes option.
A panel of different shapes will appear.
Click on the desired object you want to draw.
Click and hold the left mouse button and drag to draw shapes.
Release the mouse button.
Use rotation tools to see 3D effects.
f) What are the functions we can do in Paint 3D? (5)
Answer –The functions we can do in Paint 3D are,
Draw different 2D shapes.
Draw different 3D shapes.
Change the colour of 3D object.
Delete 3D objects.
Add stickers to provide texture and icons.
We can add 3D text.
Add different 3D effects.
Use 3D library to add different 3D objects.
g) How to add effects in Paint 3D? (2)
Answer – At first we have to create a 3D object or text.
Then we have to click on effects.
Now choose the desired effect.
You can use the Light wheel to adjust the light of the effect.
