Objectives of the Module

Goal
This module is targeted at empowering secondary school students in Nigeria with awareness,
knowledge and life skills for drug abuse prevention to make informed decisions for healthy
living.

Objectives:

Specific objectives of this module are to:


· increase awareness on drug abuse and its effects amongst secondary school
students;

· promote healthy lifestyle choices on issues relating to drug/substance abuse


amongst secondary school students;

· equip Secondary School students with the requisite knowledge of drug abuse
and its prevention;

· equip secondary school students with global competitive skills through the use of
technology; and

· encourage the use of existing safe spaces in secondary schools for drug abuse
prevention.

· Refer students struggling with drug and substance abuse for proper rehabilitation
and support
