lnterior and Local Governmenl issued a Memorandum with
subject, "Highly Encouraging Local Government Units (LGUs) to

against excessive, unnecessary, or unusually loud sound from
mobile sound systems and audio devices that exceed acceptable

levels, contribute to noise pollution and disrupt the peace in
communities;

WHEREAS, the City Government of Muntinlupa, through

the purposes of controlling noise pollution, has been enforcing
similar policies.

'Quiet Zones Ordinance."

groups, and organizations within Muntinlupa City who use or play

Ordinance, the following terms shall be defined as follows:

noise pollution, as defined in this Ordinance, due to excessive,

Thousand Pesos (PHP 2,000) but not more than Five Thousand

avoid being criminally prosecuted.
