Castrol Rustilo DWX 30

Description
A mobile dewatering fluid on evaporation of the solvent deposits an ultra-thin
protective film.

Film Characteristics
Very thin, slightly greasy.

Recommended Applications
This product affords an ultra-thin protective film which does not interfere with
air-gauging equipment. It has excellent water-displacing, demulsification and
protective properties, and contains a fingerprint neutralizing agent. The ultra-
thin film gives excellent rust preventive properties for inter-operational
protection.

It has also been used as a mild pressworking lubricant when it gives protection
to the workpiece without additional treatment.

Method Of Use
Preferably by immersion but where impractical the fluid may be applied by
brushing or spraying.

Protection
Indoors - 9 months
Outdoors - 3 months

The period specified for outdoor use assumes primary protection from the
elements by tarpaulin or another form of cover.

Removal
Normally not necessary but if required, petroleum solvents or suitable alkaline
cleaner.

Advantages
A particular feature of this product is its ability to suppress the corrosion attack
that may be caused by fingerprints, which is particularly important to the
protection of highly finished surfaces.
