Ingredients
2 cups almond flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
¼ cup unsalted butter use cold butter
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 large egg
¼ cup heavy cream 35%
¼ cup milk for brushing the tops of the scones
Instructions
1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl, ensuring they're well mixed to avoid clumps. (See
video below)
2 cups almond flour, ½ teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon baking powder,
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
2. Use your hands to incorporate the butter into the dry mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.

3. Add the shredded cheese to the mixture and blend it in thoroughly.

4. Beat the egg in a separate bowl and then add it to the mixture along with the heavy cream.
Use a rubber spatula to mix until a dough forms, ensuring there are no dry ingredients left.

5. Shape the dough into a ball and place it on a sheet of parchment or wax paper. Roll the dough
out to about a quarter-inch thickness.
6. Use a round 2-3 inch cookie cutter to cut out the scones. If you don't have a cookie cutter, you
can shape the dough into rounds by hand.
7. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Transfer the scones to the preheated air fryer basket, ensuring
they're not overcrowded. Line the basket with parchment paper or spray it with nonstick
spray.
8. Brush the tops of the scones with milk to help them achieve a golden-brown crust.

9. Air fry the scones for 6-8 minutes, checking at the 6-minute mark and continuing if needed
until they are golden brown and cooked through. You will likely have to do this in two batches,
depending on the size of your air fryer.
10. Once done, remove the scones from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
