JESUS CHRIST THE LIGHT OF WORLD,
Today we will focus on Christ the light
of the world, as we entering into
Christmas, hope you‘re having some
light around your homes and shops but
remember when you see those lights
you must know that Jesus Christ His the
light of the world.
Our main text will come from John s
Gospel 8 verse 12
Jesus spoke to them again saying, I am
the light of the world, He who follow,
me shall not walk in darkness, but have
the light of life.
These words of Jesus where spoken
during the feast of tabernacles, that is
what the Bible Historian tell us, He was
speaking in the temple, around the
place called the treasury,
because if you look at verse 20 of John
chapter 18, these words Jesus thought
in treasury in the place of the temple,
one of the reason why Jesus uttered this
words in this place, the treasury had
two massive gold stand lamps, during
the festival of tabernacle this two lamp
where rite,
after the evening sacrifice and it’s said
when light where rite, remember the
temple was on the hill, it will literally
bright all the city of Jerusalem.
And the reason why they rite those two
lamps was to remember the light God
provided for them during their life in
wilderness, because the feast of
tabernacles was for celebrating the
Lord leading children of Israel through
the wildness,
During that time the Bible says there
was a pillar of fire that lead the children
of Israel in the wildness, that why Jesus
was standing right there near the lamp
of gold, to tell them it’s good you had
the light in the wildness but am the
true light of the world,
so Jesus statement was dramatically
uttered in the right place,
So let us take a little definition of light,
what’s light and what’s darkness,
So what’s light? Light is Illumination
from an energy source, light is always
produced from some form of energy, it
could be fire, but it has to be some form
of energy that produces light,
Whenever we see light always we want
to find out the source, on our planet the
major source of light is the sun, and in
the night we imitate the sun by lighten
up our bulb,
In the Bible light represents sevol ideas,
First light represents goodness, in the
book of Genesis everything was
confused but when God said let there
be light and there was light things went
into order, light has to do with God’s
work of goodness,
Light has to do with knowledge , is not
just having information it’s the ability
to recognize God’s work , is the ability
to be able tell the deference between
things,
The Bible says He show the light was
good and separated them day and
night,
When Jesus said this He meant
everything good in the world comes
from me,
He who follows me shall not walk in
darkness but in the light.
What’s darkness,? Darkness is the
absence of Illumination. Darkness is the
absence of light, light has a source but
darkness has no source, darkness only
manifest when light is not there,
When light comes darkness has to free,
when the light goes darkness comes,
In the Bible darkness refers to
sinfulness doing evil works,
Darkness is also used as death lose of
our being vitality, disconnection from
God creates death that’s darkness,
Un able to appreciate the work of God,
Darkness is in the world and following
Jesus the light of the world helps us not
to walk in Darkness,
The reason why Jesus said is the light of
the world because this whole world lies
in darkness, darkness is nature state of
the world if you leave the world for its
self it will be dark, the only thing that
brings deferent in the world is the
presence of God who brings light.
So if we leave our life naturally and
does things as we want things goes out
of hand,
Ephesians 4 verse 17; 18
This I say therefore, and testify in the
LORD, that you should no longer as the
rest of the gentiles walk, in the futility
of their mind.
Having their understanding darkened,
being alienated from the life of God,
because of the ignorance that is in
them, because of the blindness of their
heart,
That is the description of our world
today, that seems suffocated, lies in
darkness, alienation from mankind
when there far away from God, chose to
disobey God, more and more we see in
our world people willingly chose
alienate from God, we have seen God
being pushed away, sadly even in the
Church we have seen God being pushed
away, people believe in men of God,
more than God of the men,
We believe in words of our pastors
rather than the word of God,
They only use His name to gain their
interest when you go to sophisticated
world who cannot deal with the virus
by the way,
God has been pushed away in America,
in Racha china, they alienated from
God, blindness of heart, if God stand in
the sky and shine we will still say it’s
satellite, such blindness that makes you
not to recognize things just even when
there standing in front of you.
Pervert knowledge instead knowledge
leading us to God we are using
knowledge to run away from God,
Artificial intelligence is made to lead
people away from God, the whole world
is in darkness,
Ants in my house remember there in
there world and am in my world I got a
spray and sprayed them.
Then a thought came to me was if there
is someone there and we are like ants
to them
In relation to our solar system, in
relation to our Galaxy the milky way
Galaxy, the earth is like speckle sand,
and the milky way Galaxy is supposed
to be one in billion of Galaxy’s so real
in large skim of the universe we are not
even ants, can you imagine if there is
somebody who created the whole
universe, and we stay on this planet
earth.
And we try to figure Him out because
we say we cant see Him, we don’t
believe in Him, those ants, those ants
couldn’t see me but am sure when I
sprayed them they believed in me,
Can you imagine people to go in
laboratory to make god,
God is there and His here and one day
He will spray,
Jesus is light of the world He has made
you too to be the light of the world,

You, are the light of the world, a city
that is set on a hill cannot be hidden,
