Within occasional heavy rain, Volume 57, No. 3, July 2024 Issue of Indian Welding
Journal is getting ready to publish. Volume 57, No. 2, April 2024 issue was made
available in IIW-India website in flip book format few months back. Any person has the

Report of events organized by different Branches, Chapters and Sections such as
Welding Education, ANB, ANBCC, Skill Development, etc. of IlW-India and the Section
contributed by the American Welding Society (AWS) are included in this issue as the
common practice. A separate AWS section is published in technical association with
the American WeldingSociety.
Response toa Query on Advancement of Skill and Knowledge in Welding given by Mr.
Surendra M. Vaidya, Advisor- Technical, Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., has been put
within the “Tit Bit in Welding” column of thisjournal. Another article, entitled “S.W.A.T.
