TecnoManager is a perfect UPS management software for home users and businesses.
It can monitor and manage one to multiple UPSs in a network, LAN or INTERNET
environment. Not only can it prevent data loss due to power outages and safe
shutdown of systems, but also stores programming data and scheduled shutdown of
UPSs.
1.2. Structure
TecnoManager includes the TecnoManager service, the GUI (user interface) and the
TecnoManager icon.
The TecnoManager service is the heart of the TecnoManager software. It is a system
program running in the backend. It will communicate with UPS, record events, alert
users with events, and execute command according to users' request.
The GUI is operated in the browser and communicates with the backend program.
Users can monitor UPSs to get real-time information and status, and change UPS
setting parameters via the GUI.
When TecnoManager is activated, there is an orange plug icon in the taskbar. You will
also see a pop-up dialog for the current status of the UPS.
NOTE: The system tray icon exists only in the Windows operating system.
