The students of B. Tech & M. Tech (all the branches) and B. Pharma are hereby informed that
‘National Overseas Scholarship’ is being implemented by the Ministry of Social Justice and
Empowerment for Educational empowerment and socio-economic development of students from
disadvantaged section of the society. This scheme supports low-income students belonging to
Scheduled castes, de-notified nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes, landless agricultural labourers
and traditional artisans’ communities to pursue higher education in top 500 QS World University
ranking educational institutions abroad for Masters and PhD degrees. The detail of the scheme

The scheme will be advertiscd in the news papers othet ned1a grvy
summar ized infomation about the Scheme. The candidates, after assessing
their ciigibiity and suitability. as pcr the elagibility conditions of the Schemhc

b. The selccton year period would be April-March of cach year. The portal shll
be opened for calling of applications for the first round n February March. t
period af 40 days for inviting of appiications onine and after thiN perod c
portal will be opencd again for 4 days to allow the candidates i tnak
coTrecions, if any, in the submittcd applications (before the beginnmg ot
selection year) and only online applications recerved shall be considercd fo
award of sciection. In case the slots remains unfilled, the portal will be openct
again for the second cycle in September/October for a pernod of 0 days tor

again for 4 days to allow the candidates to make corrections, if any tht
