Job Title: Product Manager / Senior Product Manager

Role Summary:
The Product Manager is the marketing custodian responsible for all products within their
portfolio. Acting as the category's entrepreneur in residence, the manager addresses both
short-term needs and long-term growth strategies. This role involves overseeing everything
from packaging to go-to-market (GTM) strategies, revenue, and margins. The Product
Manager not only represents the customer but also drives programs to ensure the category's
revenue and success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Competition Analysis & Industry Trends:


Conduct in-depth competition analysis and study industry trends to provide key
insights for product conceptualization and communication.

• Marketing Mix Development:


Develop a comprehensive marketing mix for the category, including product
offerings, communication platforms, category guidelines, and key messaging, all
rooted in strong consumer insights.

• Consumer Representation & Category Management:


Represent the consumer within the company, taking ownership of category
conversion rates and P&L. Collaborate closely with merchandising to
conceptualize and execute events aimed at driving category revenue and other
key metrics.

• GTM Strategy & Scaling:


Design and execute go-to-market strategies for new categories, covering both
online and offline sales channels.

• Metric Definition & Program Development:


Define clear success metrics for the category or sub-category and build
sustainable programs to drive these metrics across the organization.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with various functions including New Product Development (NPD),
Quality, Planning, Delivery Operations, and the Media Team to:

o Ensure supply chain deliverables, including stock availability,


procurement targets, sourcing prices, and packaging development.

o Oversee packaging design and execution for products.

o Monitor the performance and quality of launched products, track product


ratings, and recommend improvements or corrective actions.
o Guide the development of new products and enhancements to existing
products.

• Creative Team & Strategic Planning:


Collaborate with internal and external creative teams and strategic planners to
develop communication elements and implementation guidelines for the
category and products.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

o Product Manager: 2-4 years of experience in product management.

o Senior Product Manager: 4-5 years of experience in product management.

o A mix of sales and marketing experience in B2C businesses.

• Skills:

o Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct competition analysis


and study industry trends.

o Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies.

o Ability to manage P&L and drive category success.

o Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.

o Proficiency in packaging design, product development, and supply chain


management.
