CLASS VII
English:
1. Your school needs to buy 100 science textbooks for the new academic year. Write a
letter to ABC Bookstore in 100 to 150 words asking about the price, discount, and
delivery time. Sign yourself as Sonalika.
2. Your school is organizing a sports day and needs 30 footballs, 20 cricket bats, and 50
skipping ropes. Write a letter to Elite Gear Emporium - Sports shop placing the order.
3. The door to another world. You find a mysterious door—where does it lead? Write a
paragraph in 100 to 150 words on the given topic.
4. What if time stopped for a day? What would you do while the world was frozen? Write
a paragraph in 100 to 150 words on the given topic.
5. Your school is organizing a trip to a wildlife sanctuary. Write a notice in 50 words
informing students about the trip, including the date, time, fee, and last date for
registration.
Mathematics:
1. There will be 8 animals to house in the Sanctuary. Each animal will have an area of 12
square metres. Each cage must be in a different shape and at least 5 must be compound
shapes. Use a scale of 1 cm to 1 m. Label which cage is for which animal and draw the
animal. The floor material for the cage will costs ₹5,000 per square metre
The fencing of the cages will cost ₹2,000 per metre.
Other things to add:
a. Path around will cost ₹1,000 per square metre
b. Signboards will cost ₹500
c. Car parking will cost ₹500 per square metre to gravel
d. Trees costs ₹250 each
e. Toilets will cost ₹70,000
f. Canteen will cost ₹2,50,000
Plan your Sanctuary with the help of a floor plan/map. You could add other things.
Your budget is ₹25,00,000. Please keep within the budget!
2. Unlocking the Power of Pythagoras: Exploring the Theorem through Proof,
Applications, and Fun!
Materials Required: Presentation board, Construction paper/markers, Scissors/glue,
Rulers/string (optional), Pictures/magazines (optional).
Steps Required:
Define the theorem with a formula and make a diagram of it as well.
Showcase proofs using cutouts of shapes and rearrangement of shapes.
Show real-life applications with pictures like finding the ladder length and explain how a
theorem can be used to find the length of the ladder.
You can also create puzzles with missing side lengths in right triangles for classmates to
solve using the theorem. Explain each section and demonstrate the proofs.

Explain how your model can help improve daily life or the environment.

1. Explore the wonders of Forests:
a.Choose any one type of forest: Tropical, Deciduous, or desert Forests
b. Research and create a project on it.including
*A brief description of the forest types
* Climate and geographical location
*Pictures of the forests
* Flora and Fauna: Mention at least 3 animals and 3 plants found there with
images.
*Importance of the forest and threats it faces.
2. Poster Making:
● Choose one of the following themes and design a creative poster:
a. “Save Water, Save Life ”- Highlight the importance of water conservation with Cathy
slogans and visuals.
b. “Unity in Diversity in India” Showcase how India is rich in culture, languages
, traditions, and religious through a vibrant poster.
3. Travel Brochure - Discover India:
● Pick any one Indian state of your choice and design a travel brochure.
● Include:
● Location and Physical features(mountain,rivers,etc)
● Climate and Natural Resources
● Major Cities and Food
● Why should people visit? (Add images and fun facts)
Submission Guidelines:
● Neatly written and well-decorated work.
● Use pictures, drawings, or printed images to make it engaging.

● Write a short story or poem inspired by nature, forest, or a travel experience.
● The best creative entries will be displayed in the class.
