helpful visuals, pro tips, and everything you need to activate your service with confidence.

✅ Step 1: Unbox & Check Your Equipment

Ensure your package includes the following:

● Power adapter
● Coaxial cable
● Wi-Fi 6 Hitron Arria Router

✅ Step 2: Locate Your Coaxial Outlet
Find a coaxial wall outlet — typically located in the:

● Living room
● Utility room
● Media panel

If you or a previous resident had cable internet from providers like Shaw or Rogers, Wakey uses
the same outlet.

Tip: Unplug any old equipment before setting up Wakey.

✅ Step 3: Connect Your Modem

On your activation date:

1. Connect the coaxial cable from the wall to your modem.
2. Plug in the modem’s power.
3. Wait 5–10 minutes for the ‘globe’ or ‘online’ light to turn solid.

If it's not online after 10 minutes:

● Try a different coax outlet, if available.

● Confirm that your activation is live.

✅ Step 4: Set Up Your Wi-Fi 6 Router
Once your modem is online:

1. Connect an Ethernet cable from LAN 1 on your modem

to LAN 2 on the Hitron Arria 2210 router.

2. Plug in the router and allow 2–3 minutes for it to fully boot up.

⚠️ Important:
Only connect the Hitron Arria 2210 or your own router to the modem.
Other devices plugged directly into the modem may cause IP conflicts and disrupt
your internet.

✅ Step 5: Configure Your Wi-Fi

1. On your PHONE or LAPTOP, connect to the default

Wi-Fi network (e.g., Hitron Easy Connect xxxxx)

found on the bottom of your router.

2. Open a browser and follow the setup wizard.

3. ⚠️ IMPORTANT. Select “Configure as Router” (Check ✅)

4. Create your custom Wi-Fi name and password.
5. Follow on-screen prompts to complete setup.
6. Reconnect to your new Wi-Fi. Setup takes 5–10 minutes.

Trouble connecting?

● Locate the small reset hole on the bottom of the Arria router.
● Hold the button for 30–45 seconds until the LED flashes green/blue/red with a
paper-clip/pin.

3. Select it and enter your custom Wi-Fi password.

🛠️ Troubleshooting & Tips

● Globe light not solid?
Tighten coax connections and wait 15–20 minutes after a power cycle.
● Can’t access the router setup page?
Try another device or reset the Arria 2210 using a pin for 30–45 seconds.
● Slow speeds?
Reposition mesh units or power cycle your modem/router (unplug > wait > plug back in).
● No Internet?
Double-check:
○ Ethernet is connected from LAN 1 on the modem → LAN 2 on the router
○ Modem is online (globe light solid)
○ You’re using your new Wi-Fi network (not the default one)
