- Create a short illustrated story where a particle
(like a water molecule) goes on an adventure
through all three states of matter.
- Use scientific terms like intermolecular space,
kinetic energy, evaporation, etc.
- Bonus: Add a section explaining real-life
applications like cooling by evaporation or
liquefied gases.

Chapter 5: The Fundamental Unit of Life
Activity – 'Build a Cell in a Box':
- Make a 3D model of either a plant cell or animal
cell using cardboard/shoebox and colored items
like buttons, beads, wool, etc.
- Label all organelles (nucleus, mitochondria,
vacuole, etc.)
Worksheet:
- Create a table comparing Prokaryotic vs.
Eukaryotic Cells and Plant vs. Animal Cells.
- Draw neat, labelled diagrams of both types of
cells.
