Archaeological SurveY of lndia.

Applications are invited, in duplicate, from eligible candidates for filling up Eight (08)
posts of superintending Archaeological Engineer General central service Group 'A',
(Gazetted) Non-Ministerial in Pay Level 11 in Archaeological survey of lndia by
deputation (including short term contract). The eligibility criteria and other details are as
follows:

administration or Public Sector Undertakings or recognised Research lnstitutions or
Universities or Statutory or Autonomous organisations:

(A) (l) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre, department; or

(ll) with five years' regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a
regular basis in posts in level '10 in the pay matrix: in the parent cadre or department;
and

(B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

i) Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University or lnstitute;

ii)eightyears,experienceinplanning'executionandsupervisionofcivil
engineering works in Government sector or any Archaeological or heritage site.

Duties: Generally assisting the Head of Engineering Branch, formulating the. plans

The officer selected for appointment on deputation basis will be governed by
