Undo

 Excel: Ctrl + Z
 Google Sheets: Ctrl + Z
 How: Press Ctrl and then tap Z. This will undo your last action.

2. Repeat Last Command

 Excel: F4 or Ctrl + Y
 Google Sheets: Ctrl + Y
 How: Use it after a command like formatting; it repeats the same action.

3. Insert Current Date

 Excel: Ctrl + ;
 Google Sheets: Ctrl + ;
 How: Click on a cell, press Ctrl and ; to insert today’s date.

4. Insert Current Time

 Excel: Ctrl + Shift + ;


 Google Sheets: Ctrl + Shift + ;
 How: Click a cell, then press Ctrl + Shift + ; to insert the current time.

5. Fill Range with First Cell’s Content

 Excel: Ctrl + Enter


 Google Sheets: Ctrl + Enter
 How: Select a range, type in the first cell, then press Ctrl + Enter.

6. Fill Down

 Excel: Ctrl + D
 Google Sheets: Ctrl + D
 How: Select the range including the top cell with the data. Press Ctrl + D.

7. Fill Right

 Excel: Ctrl + R
 Google Sheets: Ctrl + R
 How: Select the range starting from the left cell with data. Press Ctrl + R.

8. Edit Active Cell

 Excel: F2
 Google Sheets: Enter or F2
 How: Select a cell, press F2 to start editing without replacing its contents.

9. Copy

 Excel & Sheets: Ctrl + C


 How: Select the cells and press Ctrl + C to copy to clipboard.

10. Cut

 Excel & Sheets: Ctrl + X


 How: Select the cells and press Ctrl + X to move them elsewhere.

11. Paste

 Excel & Sheets: Ctrl + V


 How: Select the destination cell and press Ctrl + V to paste copied/cut data.

12. New Line in Same Cell

 Excel: Alt + Enter


 Google Sheets: Ctrl + Enter
 How: While typing in a cell, press the shortcut to start a new line within the same cell.

13. Insert/Edit Comment or Note

 Excel: Shift + F2
 Google Sheets: Ctrl + Alt + M
 How: Select the cell and press the shortcut to add or edit a comment.

14. Show Formulas

 Excel: Ctrl + ~
 Google Sheets: Ctrl + ~
 How: This toggles between viewing formulas and cell results.
 Undo (Ctrl + Z)
Reverses your most recent action, such as typing or formatting.

 Repeat Last Command (F4 or Ctrl + Y)


Repeats the last action you performed, like applying a format.

 Insert Current Date (Ctrl + ;)

 Paste (Ctrl + V)
Inserts the copied or cut content into the selected cell.
 New Line in Same Cell (Alt + Enter / Ctrl + Enter)
Adds a line break within a single cell for multiple lines of text.

 Insert/Edit Comment or Note (Shift + F2 / Ctrl + Alt + M)


Adds or edits a comment or note to provide extra information about the cell.

 Show Formulas (Ctrl + ~)


Switches between viewing formulas and their resulting values in the worksheet.
