Activity 1: Katy Perry is a famous singer, actress, and businesswoman. She is thirty-five
years old, was born in Santa Barbara, United States, in October 1984. She is a great
composer, wrote beautiful songs like "Fireworks" or "I Kissed a Girl". She is in a relationship
with Orlando Bloom, with whom she is expecting a child.

Activity 2: Katy Perry tries to show that we are all important and we need know that a light is
waiting for us. She want says that we don’t have to lost the hope because we worth a lot.
Basically, she says that we can shine and we deserve love because we are great for
someone and for ourselves.

Activity 3: She compares us to fireworks because they are made to shine and illuminate
large spaces full of darkness, therefore she refers to the fact that we can show the light that
is within us to clarify difficult moments.
