SOCIAL RELEVANCE
The weight of the social significance of an issue facing orphanages is profound. Orphanages
are very important institutions in the community as they take care of children who have lost
their parents or cannot stay with their families for various reasons. Nonetheless, these places
face obstacles like limited resources, overcrowding and lack of personal attention to
individual child
The implications of these difficulties are extensive for the well-being of children in such
homes and society. Such kids may encounter problems while creating close human
interaction, acquiring vital survival tools and smoothly moving into maturity. This results into
a perpetuation of poverty cycles, social exclusion and affects negatively on mental health
among these vulnerable group
At present, nearly all Indian Orphanages are now less in number compared to nuclear families
as well as other factors. They play a critical role as safety nets for vulnerable children, by
providing them with basic necessities care, Opportunities and advocacy within the society The
orphanages provide a range of amenities including food, shelter, medical treatment among
others; this research sought to establish the various social factors that affect children who live
in orphanages.

3. Alternative family structures:
In places where there is limited or no extended Family Support provided, Orphanages acts as
an alternative family structure. They build Bonds with Children and make them feel like part
of their own home thus fostering their emotional well-being as well as psychological growth.
4. Education Opportunities:
Such orphanages focusing on Education opportunities are not only beneficial for Orphans'
Development but also crucial for their future lives.
5 Psychological Assistance:
Children residing in orphanages often go through or loss.
The staff at these facilities equipped to offer psychological support and counseling, aiding
children in their healing process and fostering resilience.
6 Adoption Foster Care Opportunities:
Orphanages play a vital role in arranging adoption and foster care placements, that children
are placed in nurturing homes when returning to their biological families is not an option.
You could sponsor provisions of daily use \milk \vegetables\ biscuits\ bed sheets,
pillows to the home.
You could donate towards the medicines for the destitute residents for Rs 1500 a
month.

CHAPTER-5
REVIEW OF LITERATURE
The study aimed to find out where the adjustment problems are. This would suggest ways to
make the welfare programs better for kids in need In this chapter, we talk about how we did a
preliminary survey (or a pilot study). We also discuss how we picked the right tools for
collecting data, what our sample looked like, and the statistical techniques we used in our
study.
The Preliminary Survey (Pilot Study)We conducted this preliminary survey from June to
December 1996. The goal was clear: we wanted to spot problem areas and list issues faced by
kids living in orphanages. This list would help create a problem checklist for the main study.
ProcedureWe asked respondents to write down their problems and needs as orphans. Each
person received a response sheet to jot down their thoughts. The title said: "The Problems &
Needs I’ve Been Facing as an Inmate in the Orphanage." They were given space to share their
age, class, sex, and socioeconomic status. We personally distributed these papers to the
selected five.
Analysis & Discussion of ResponsesOverall, responses from the pilot study looked good.
Many inmates shared their stories about problems they faced. Some complained about
authorities and senior students, while others pointed out their struggles with accommodation.
They were not happy with the dormitory system at the orphanages. Many felt they needed
basic items like tables and chairs or cots. They also mentioned harsh treatment from
authorities. Loneliness and feelings of rejection were common themes too. What they wanted
most was recognition, understanding, & encouragement.
INTRODUCTION:
These days, smartphones are super important in our daily lives! They help us with almost
everything we do! Thanks to cool advancements in smartphone tech and apps, life has become
easier for many people. This paper will suggest a nice website designed for managing
orphanages! It could be a great option for both the orphanages & families wanting to adopt.
Adopting orphans helps give them a home while also improving their lives with money, food,
and clothing. This website will also show users different options for helping kids in need! To
keep everything safe and organized, users will sign in using their phone numbers before
proceeding. Most people wishing to adopt often don't know how to go through the adoption
process correctly. But through smart use of statistics, we can connect these wonderful kids
with suitable parents!
13 | P a g e
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:
The orphanage will reach out using various media like social media, newspapers, TV, email &
phone calls! Some ways include native ads, audio/video spots, Google AdWords, display ads,
brochures & mobile ads! In a survey about an online Orphanage System Using JAVA, authors
suggested that a tailored web app is needed for our goals! When visitors come to our site
they’ll register first before visiting.
After registration is complete, they can enter and learn more about the orphanage. If groups
want to visit together, they can easily provide details like names or account numbers! Once
those details are shared with us by admin staff — a response message goes out via email
immediately! Then users can donate money directly; that amount goes into an admin account
which gets passed on to designated orphanages.
Admin duties involve keeping records up-to-date & organizing information about children
needing help along with adoption options!
About House of Hope Orphanage—authors Olatunbosun Jude & Abuh Emmanuel O found
that it uses paper files even though it’s growing quickly! The old school manual way takes lots
of time & could lead to mistakes very easily! With more children coming due to unfortunate
situations in Jos — there isn’t enough space left for all that paperwork!
Marinus H.van Ijzendoorn et al (2008) studied 3,888 kids across 19 countries comparing those
in orphanages vs foster families! They found that children in orphanages tended to have lower
IQs than those living with foster families! Factors like when kids enter homes or how
developed countries are really affected those delays!
Susan N. Ngunu (2011) looked at psychosocial challenges faced by orphans impacting their
school performance too! Out of 84 orphans & 120 non-orphans including 10 teachers—results
showed that orphans face more challenges leading to lower academic scores compared with
non-orphans! Insights provided led to recommendations for effective interventions & further
research!
Nasir Mohammad Bhatt (2014) compared mental health among secondary school students
from Kashmir carrying similar themes!
LITERATURE SURVEY:
Cloud computing plays big here too—even data anonymization is vital! Protecting
organizational info means we must consider security measures seriously—like using modern
encryption techniques ensuring client safety throughout interactions on Cloud services used
today!
Data anonymization aims at keeping original characteristics but ensuring user privacy remains
intact too—three important goals here include blocking identities from exposure and
preventing leakages of internal info regarding security procedures used within companies

CHAPTER-6
ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION
After gathering info from all sorts of primary and secondary sources, I found out
that thephanage faces a problem: not enough funds limited resources.
The meals at kritagyata trust institution are filled with protein & nutrition. That’s
super important for the kids growing up!
Thanks to this project, facilities & services have improved a lot. The community is
looking nicer, and it’s boosted residents' mental well-being—truly making a
difference for everyone involved including the kids.
At this organization, the children are generally calm and peaceful. They work well
with others and treat everyone fairly, no matter what their background is.
15 | P a g e
SUMMARY:
krirsha institution is all about helping others. They focus on making life better for citizens in
need so they can live in dignity & comfort.
Studies show that being in a loving family is much better for kids than living in orphanages.
Sadly, many orphanage settings—especially for babies and young kids—don’t always support
proper child development. Sometimes, staying in an orphanage can lead to serious long-term
effects on children's brains, affecting their physical, social-emotional & intellectual growth.
Kids raised in large orphanages often struggle with growth issues too. This includes severe
delays in growth and problems with their motor skills and coordination.
LIVING FACILITIES:
The Kritagyata Trust has its own building where residents stay in bright and cozy rooms—
single, double & triple occupancy options available on four floors! They have a lounge, a
prayer room, a spacious dining hall on the ground floor, plus kitchen & laundry facilities.
Ramps are built where needed to make it easier for everyone to move around.
FOOD:
Kritagyata Trust serves up nutritious meals! The menu is planned with advice from experts.
It’s all vegetarian. Day by day, residents enjoy rice, ragi (a grain), chapatti (bread), lentils with
fresh vegetables, salads, yogurt, and fruits.

CHAPTER-7
CONCLUSION
Orphaned kids are among the most vulnerable groups in India. Just like every other child they
have rights & needs that need our care They are at a risk of being exploited or abused. So,
they really need extra attention. It’s not just about giving them food, shelter, clothes, or. Love
& care are huge parts of their lives. After all, they are treasures for our nation! It’s super
important to create a healthy environment for them to grow up like other kids do.
Now, even though distant relatives or foster care can support orphans in India, orphanages
often provide the best option for care. This is especially true since India is still developing and
faces many challenges. We have rules and regulatory bodies in place, but sadly, many of these
institutions aren’t checked regularly. Because of this, the physical & mental health of
orphaned children often goes unnoticed.
Many homes also lack skilled & trained staff. Plus, the poor conditions in some orphanages
make it even more important to focus on foster care & make adoption ease If you want to help
these children in need, donating to an orphanage is a wonderful option! It can provide support
that really improves their lives – think education & healthcare! But it’s smart to look into
what an orphanage needs before donating. Donating can be rewarding too! Knowing you
made a difference in a child's life can bring a sense of purpose and joy.
There are impacts of living in orphanages on children’s growth. Studies show that kids who
stay in orphanages sometimes face delays with feelings, language skills, social interactions,
and even physical growth. They might get sick more often too and don’t always get the proper
care they deserve. Because of this lack of support, they can develop emotional issues early on
which may stick with them as they grow older. However, some orphanages do an amazing job
caring for abandoned or orphaned children!
It's important not to rush children out of orphanages since doing so could put them back with
abusive or neglectful families—and that would be dangerous for them! For those without
families, some orphanages may offer safe places to live. In fact, some countries are starting
programs that pay extended families to welcome their orphaned relatives home—keeping kids
with family can be such a great idea! Ultimately though, it’s tough to say what’s best for all
orphans since there are both good & bad places—be it orphanages or family homes. Everyone
agrees that children don’t necessarily have to stay in institutions; just that we shouldn’t say
they’re bad options either! It’s key for everyone to consider what will best help communities
that have so much going on right now.

LEARNING EXPERIENCE
I’m really thankful for all I've learned in the past few months. Life has taught me much about
myself. Now I appreciate my life more than ever before. It's amazing much fun I can have
with things around me. I feel like I’ve found that child-like joy again I've tested my patience,
cleaned out my heart, and a glimpse of what being a dad, a role model, & a mentor to kids
really means.
Unexpected Joy & Inspiration: The strength of those helped by NGOs truly
motivates me.
Empathy & Patience: I’ve gained a better understanding of what people with
mental disabilities go through. It helps me see their struggles more clearly.
Individualized Support: NGOs often create support plans that fit each person’s
unique needs. Watching this is a good reminder of how important it is to tailor
our help in different parts of life, like school and work.
Skill Development: I've picked up on using visual aids, special activities, and
different community methods. This truly opens your mind about connecting
with those who learn in unique ways.
Life Lessons:
Resilience & Inspiration: The individuals helped by NGOs are super inspiring.
Their grit to face challenges is amazing!
Advocacy & Social Responsibility: Many NGOs fight for rights & better
resources. They make the world better.
